buggy - at times, the pop up button will show up, but Reese does not get to the place he needs to get to for quest progression. Posted a pic with the example of this (uploaded to wowhead, wowhead did not post it).

The green ethereal looking fox creatures labeled Juicy Clue give the most towards filling up the information bar.

At the end of the quest, you can see on page 1 of his Tome of Archived Isles Research, it says "PROPERTY OF NIROBIN" as an easter egg of the anime character.
Seems to be a reference from One Piece, Nico Robin. As both are archeologists.

You need to look for the "Blue Puddles of Light" with all the critters and go there. An extra action button will pop up for you to use. You can also pet glowing Juicy Clue mobs here and there. Rinse and repeat til you fill the bar.

For the last stage of the quest, Transmute Reese's Information, stand inside of Reese. An extra action button will appear for you to click to complete the objective.

right now it seems having the quest and the bonus objective at the same time bugs this out i could not do it until i dropped the quest

Description

Reese here is hungry as a dragon-horse for clues. Clues of the past! More specifically, we're going to use my unique brand of magic to unveil and analyze energy that resonates with the same frequency as our relic. You will guide Reese to these "clues," where I will use him as a remote conduit to absorb those energies. When we've reached our critter's capacity to hold those energies, I'll port him back here to transmute it all into cold, hard data. <Reese winks at you. How strange...>
