Looks like blizzard changed this. It's no longer making you as large as it did originally. Like always, they just want to remove as much fun from the game as they can.

if you activate this buff on a Warlock with the Skull of the Man'ari heirloom mogged, for some reason the skull scales like, ten times larger than you do. And it shoots waaaay up high in the air. It's awesome, this massive skull, larger than you are, hovering overhead.

10.1.5 Dragonflight
To grow to IMPRESSIVE SIZE you need the trinket Experimental Anima Cell and will need to head to Shadowlands, to Torghast, Tower of the Damned, to grind it out (took me 10ish hours). The best way to get there is jump through the middle giant hole in bottom floor of Oribos and follow the path right and down. I believe you have to complete the campaign to head down but I am not positive. However, I did this on my hunter, who was my main up through Shadowlands. He was level 70 with level 385 gear when I took him in. Ironically enough I quit Shadowlands because how much I didn't like doing Torghast and while it is really easy at level 70, it still requires a bit of RNG luck.

Entering Torghast and heading straight will bring you into a room of portals, each one a different challenge. The one I chose was Skoldus Hall, the first one on the left. There are 2 components to each portal, there is the layer and the floor. Each layer consists of 5 floors in Skoldus Hall, usually consisting of: 2 long runs, a quick trap hall with your first vendor, another short run, followed always by the fifth run being the vendor a second time and a lone boss. (Floor vendors 3 and 5, and eventually Adamant Vaults 7, all have different loot so keep going.)

What you want to do is run Skoldus Hall starting at layer 1 and working your way to layers 9-12 (only these layers will have the chance to buy this toy). When you get to layer 9-12, the two vendors that appear on floors 3 and 5 have a small chance to sell you the trinket Experimental Anima Cell. Experimental Anima Cell. I got to layer 12 and ran that around 20 times before dropping to layer 9 to speed things up. The vendor on floor 5 of layer 9 offered it to me. You will get a ton of shoulder cosmetics the longer you are there and eventually unlock a lot of things to turn in. Also you can unlock a skill tree with an item that lets you earn points to make your runs easier.

You need 300 phantasms before floor 3 (currency) to buy the toys and shoulder cosmetics so make sure you are crushing lots of vases. If you are stuck running a lot like me you will eventually unlock the Adamant Vaults, which make Torghast even longer, but offer some pretty nifty cosmetics I didn't know about and can also drop/sell the toy. These are pricey costing 1000 phantasms.
