I've always thought of healer as the support role, I don't understand the demand for specs like Augvoker. Honestly, just remove the damage main stat one, having move speed and healing increases are great as support pots IMO.
Previous coverage of these potion bombs indicated that they'd be tuned the same as normal potions, just split 5 ways (so 20% of a normal potion per target). With the requirement that they be ground-targeted and consume the user's potion CD, I think they'll need to be at least about 20% stronger (so 24%+ of a normal potion effect per target) than a regular potion not to flop at release (not that that would be a new thing for engineers).
This is pretty cool for engineers to finally get something that feels useful.
if the cooldown is low enough these could be awesome
90 primary stat is like 0.4% more damage, soon to be even less in TWW. It won't matter much at all. Give enji something actually useful.
Fantastic idea, can't wait to use these!
Reminds me of throwing health potions on allies in Baldur's Gate 3. ^^
I love how much flavor they are adding to the game HEHEHEH. You can do stuff with these marginal results, the important thing is to give you the freedom to express your gameplay interests with as many possibilities as they can. Of course this will be an issue for min maxers because they only care about the numbers. But for people who actually like to enjoy the game in a healthy way, this is just a fun addition to an increasingly more desirable expansion.it was a group of players who, in their vocal intensity, decided they were the broad target audience of the game. But let me tell you, there's a vast majority of players who enjoy the game in a more casual fashion. Yes, maybe they are also slaves to nostalgia for the old times. But you can't just keep treating the game like a tenuous chore you have to perfect for 20 years. We getting old now. It's ok to get silly with these mechanics.
You just know all the parselords are gonna throw a tantrum over this.
