Even after turning in Fel Moss Corruption, if you haven't turned in Demonic Thieves yet, there is still hope to get the breadcrumb quest A Favor for Melithar from Ilthalaine. Simply abandon Demonic Thieves, then that breadcrumb quest will be available again.

Hi -- I'm a complete newbie to WoW, and feeling a bit lost. I have this quest, and keep seeing Grelkin, but most of the time, my character can't seem interact with them. I was somehow able to attack and kill 2 of them, but I have no idea why those 2 and not the dozens of others I've encountered. I've tried everything I can think of, and can't seem to figure out what to do. It's getting a bit frustrating, as all my character can do is walking around in circles, see a grelkin and click on it, but (except for those 2 times) nothing happens.
There doesn't seem to be much information to explain to new players how to play -- the "new player guide" has cool graphics explaining how to pick a character race and class, but doesn't really EXPLAIN much about learning how to play.
Can somebody help? Or point me to something that is actually helpful?

Fel Moss Corruption

Collect 6 Fel Moss from the grellkin to the west of Ilthalaine.

Description

You seem to know what you're doing. Perhaps I can task you with something a little more important.

As you may well know, the corruption in Teldrassil was supposedly wiped away. Yet something lingers. The creatures have not calmed and all manner of problems still plague us.

I need you to deal with the grellkin that have gathered to the west, and while you're there, I want you to search them for fel moss. This will help me determine from where this continuing corruption stems.
