Im not sure if this takes u 2 this quest, but i started a chain (which r all giving thorium bro. rep.) just north of grimesilt digsite (68.53) I went from neutral 2 friendly after about 5 quests : )

If you're high enough level to oneshot them, you can get two completions for each slave - talk to them and free them, then off them.

For those like me who have a dark screen you may not notice the other room with more of the mobs to kill. The gate that you click on is at 38.1 44.5

You don't have to attempt to free them... you can just attack them and get credit for killing them.

When you talk to one and he attacks you, just find another one and free him while the other one is still attacking you. It will bug and eventually make it so the one attacking just walks away as if he chose to run. You get credit that way and don't need to waste your time killing them.

Avoid AoE at all cost near the Iron Summit Guards as they can be hit. And once that happens, you will get spanked by all your "guards".
They will net you so getting away from them isn't that easy without taking a beating.

Description

Much like Overseer Maltorius, I'm a rich dwarf. However, I earned my riches through hard work and wise decisions, not through slavery.

OK fine, very little slavery. Hardly any.

Anyhow, the first thing that I see inside these caverns are slavedrivers and taskmasters. I won't stand for this! As you progress through the cavern, kill as many as you can. Report your results to Evonice Sootsmoker, deeper within the Slag Pit.
