If you had Jungle Remedy in your bank or inventory before 4.0.3a they have disappeared. It has since become a quest item.

The problem I ran into is that the game still thinks I had those old potions in my bank, and wouldn't allow me to pick up more to finish the quest.
Abandoning and accepting the quest again seems to fix this issue.

I actually had some in my guild bank and didn't realize the change that had happened. I pulled them out with a toon that had either already finished the quest or had abandoned it (can't remember, she's lvl 53 now) and after I moved them out of the guild bank, they showed up highlighted in my bag as a quest item, but they couldn't go back into the guild bank and I couldn't sell them. And there wasn't a quest in my log, obviously, to abandon. Very irritating.

Tip to anyone who has them in their guild vault: Only take them out with a toon that needs them!

Posting this here so that it is visible because I want people to be able to get their pet without the confusion I had. As these are not listed as a chain and truthfully you wont be finishing all the quests chains, rather these are the just quests required to get your raptor. This is for the Alliance, Horde you have a guide lower down the page.

1.a. Bad Medicine
1.a.1. Just Hatched
1.a.2. I Think She's Hungry
1.b. The Fate of Kurzen
1.b.1. Spared from Madness

At this point you must log out, and log back in inorder to spawn a npc that will be required in the next step.

2. Deep Roots Make certain your pet raptor is out while doing this quest as it will give you the next step here.

3. Favored Skull If you did not complete 1.a.2. you will not be offered this quest as there will be no npc to turn it in. If you have not logged out and back in the npc will not be at the Rebel Camp yet.

4. A Nose for This Sort of Thing

6. Bloodlord Mandokir Don't bother chasing him, he runs the farthest I've ever seen an npc go, all the way to 54.5, 43.3 where he claims to have lost you and despawns. This chasing him is what got me confused because I thought I was done and so went and did Zul'Gurub and wondered why I didn't get my pet.

I just did all the quests in that series mentioned above by Madwolf. I got to Ghaliri and turned in quest but that was the end no pet. I then read in this thread

that you could kill mandokir in the level 85 dungeon and get the pet. I did just that and returned to Ghaliri but no pet or anything. I noticed ghaliri is neutral to me, wondered if that mattered but did not think it should.

So, I still have no pet and not sure if there is a way to get it now.

Does anyone know if the Lashtail Hatchling NPC shows when you're stealthed?

I'm trying to level on a PvP server in STV as a rogue, and it seems like a dead giveaway--and she can't be dismissed during the questline :S I know minipets are often meant to 'stealth' with you (although it just doesn't work much of the time), but does the NPC?

Obtain 7 Jungle Remedies from the Kurzen Compound.

	Jungle Remedy (7)

Description

I have a feeling that Kurzen's Medicine Men are distributing more than just medicine. Kurzen needs some way to quelch insubordination, and an elixir under the guise of "medicine" would be the perfect way to do that.

We need those remedies for research. Search the Kurzen Compound to the southeast - his medicine men and jungle fighters should carry the remedies on their bodies.
