A quick suggestion for this quest. Along with this quest you also get On Even Ground, in which you recieve an Elementium Grapple Line.

When you assist Tawn Winterbluff, she is already fighting a Servant of Therazane. If you use the grapple line on this add, it will significantly weaken the Servant and lets you kill two birds with one stone.

Look for the giant "minor hunter mark" and attack those large mobs or elementals, those will be the npc's you are looking for.

I turned in On Even Ground before doing this quest. I figured out that if you kite the Servant of Therazane away, it will relieve the npc. The Servant will probably follow you for quite a while, though.

The completion condition is to "remove the NPC from combat."

Since there are several bugs and design flaws with the current version of this quest, I suggest a cheap workaround. Stand on top of something that causes the elites to evade bug and then draw aggro.

This quest can be farmed endlessly for gold, albeit slowly. Ideally do it with mining and an AoE pet. Toss an AoE effect between mining and looting to tag and it'll be near impossible to die in decent gear. It's terrible money v. time but can be done while watching TV. clickclickclickclick

For any elemental shamans that enjoy an absurb amount of haste, use lust with the npc's lust. You will witness some insane lightning bolt mastery procs. My lightning bolts were at a 1 second cast time and they were procing all over the place.

Thanks a lot blizzard! Seems many of us are turning in the quest "on even ground" before completing this quest. It would be nice if you let us keep the grappling line for this quest to. I died twice trying to kill those servants as it is the only way of relieving those Earthen Ring NPC's.

I also turned in On Even Ground as a mage. Therefore, I had to complete this quest without the grappling hook. I was able to take down the elite with my mirror image spell. With four casters for thirty seconds, it takes a bit out of him. However, you will need to use health potion once while you are waiting for the cooldown to finish him off with another mirror image. Good luck

Bugged in 5.4.2. None of the mobs in the area are attackable, even though they show up with their names in red. Core of Our Troubles is also affected. Neither quest is currently completable.

Many people seem to have the same issue, that the mobs are not attackable - that is because you are already exhalted with "Therazane" - simply go to your reputations window and select "At War" at the Therazane Faction - now you can attack them and be able to complete this quest!

When da attack started, we pushed out to take da field as quickly as we could. Dere forces were deep and endless... we underestimated dem. Now some of our best shaman be stranded out dere, exhausted, far from our defenses.
