If this quest doesn't work, abandon and re-do. You're supposed to get a cutscene but as of Cata launch, sometimes the CS doesn't start.

A very touching scene. For those interested in what transpires, read below:

Anchorite Avuun says: Even now, notjing. Why? Why would the Light forsake the innocent?
(a portal opens and Prophet Velen steps out)
Prophet Velen says: Some have spent decades meditating upon this mystery, Avuun. I do not wish the same fate upon you.
Anchorite Avuun says: Prophet Velen!
Prophet Velen says: The Light wishes suffering on none, my child. But it does not reign unopposed in our realm.
Prophet Velen says: Even now, the true battle between the forces of Light and Darkness approaches. We will all be called to join, and in the face of this conflict, all mortal suffering will be meaningless.
Prophet Velent says: Magtoor, you have endured your plight bravely. Are you ready to return to the embrace of the Light?
Magtoor says: Yes...
Prophet Velen says: Then may the Light save you and raise you up.
(he casts a spell, light fills the area and Magtoor disappears.)
Prophet Velen says: Remember, Avuun. Not all who wander are lost.
Anchorite Avuun says: ...thank you, Prophet. You have given both of us great comfort. I will continue my work, in faith and memory of Magtoor.

As Thalassicus quotes from the passage above, the "Not all who wander are lost" quote is from J. R. R. Tolkien's "The Lord of the Rings" and is actually in reference to Strider (Aragorn).

I found this final quest to be very moving. I lost a family member recently after a long illness where nothing seemed to help her, similar to the story line.

The scene that followed gave me reminder that people live on after they die, in our hearts and minds, and that they can give us comfort, even as we grieve their passing.

It makes me wonder if the quest creator suffered a similar loss and I want to thank him or her for this sweet and unexpected moment.

Interesting note in the dialogue for this quest. Velen says "Even now, the true battle between the forces of Light and Darkness approaches. We will all be called to join, and in the face of this conflict all mortal suffering will be meaningless." Seems very clear to me that he's referring to the Legion expansion even though this quest was made and released in Cataclysm. Just a cool note that proves that Blizzard are in fact writing as far ahead as they say they are.
