The chocolate comes from the eggs that spawn around the inn.
You can equip your basket and use it to run around and collect the eggs.

Besides the money and the XP (around 23k @ lvl 78) there's no reward, so if you are after the achievements (eating chocolate) and buying stuff from the vendor, I would advise you not to complete this quest.

The money reward does scale with level.
The weird thing is that the reward is given to you to help search for eggs. I would suggest not turning this in if you don't have money problems.

This quest is mainly for ppl who have allready gotten the things they need from the vendors, so don't complete it if ur not done, and for some ppl who don't know this, the quest dosen't give ur chocalates back.

Here is the tip for best amounts of loot. Alliance.

Basically for alliance at EF Inn, there will always be three (3) eggs up. Once person loots one it despawns and spawns on another location around the inn.

Best way to farm and get lot of drops fast is :

- In case you are alone at the inn or with 1-2 more players farming :
Your best hit would be to spam basked Use effect for speed and run around the in, you can get 30 in no time, minutes literally.

- In case you are not alone and there are a lot of players farming (5+) :
Just stand and camp at right side of inn near the horses, there are 4 eggs reachable from one spot so there is no need to move, 3 eggs if you move just a little bit. Make sure you are in rabbit outfit and just stand still so others ignore you. I got all my stuffs in no time and it appears that this is best tactic for farming them. I earlier had no idea they spawn in 3 only and I thought they spawn on timer everywhere but I found out soon it was not the case.

Brightly Colored Egg/Noblegarden Chocolate guide:
(By Laffi, Ravencrest)

This guide will take you through how to most efficient farm eggs to get all the items. If you're starting fresh it will take over 3 hours to get all the items. My way of doing this was to start with the most time consuming items, like the mount, that requires 500 Noblegarden Chocolate. My last item was Mystical Spring Bouquet. The coloured "Spring Circlets" cost 50 Noblegarden Chocolate each, and together they are 250 Noblegarden Chocolate.

Important notice: A few of the items, including the mount can drop from opening the eggs, which will save you more time! I also got a spare mount after farming my own, and I sold it for 5000 Golds. Not too bad.

There are 3 points I used mainly in Elwynn Forest, Goldshire. These coordinates are:

/way Elwynn Forest 41 67 Egg is Between two trees.
/way Elwynn Forest 41 67 Egg is under the wagon.
/way Elwynn Forest 41 67 Egg is to the right of some barrels in some box.

What I did was to just stand in the middle, and run left or right, and click the egg under the wagon if it was there. These respawn really quick, and it won't take you long to get a bunch of them.

Now. I do like to be effective so I will give you another 2 coordinates, that are to the right of the wagon. That will make you able to take 5 at once, but it's a bit stressful, because you have to actually move. These coordinates are:

/way Elwynn forest 42 67 Egg is in the middle of a bush.
/way Elwynn forest 42 67 Egg is on the fence post.

If there aren't too many people, you can take all 5 points.

Now about people: Most of the people doing this, just want the achievements and finish the quests. They won't bother you long. Most people also just run around, trying to collect the eggs. If you however get someone next to you, that you feel are in the way, just ask them nicely to stand next to the fence post and bush. Having war mode on will also work very well, as there will be less people around.

There is enough eggs for everyone, and most people won't see the egg under the wagon. In worst cases, just loot the egg under the wagon and the one next to the barrels.

Can you only pick quests up once per a from 1 vendor? Typically for these world evens you can grab the quest daily in each zone.

Borrowed Egg Basket is the one you get while you are on this quest. Upon completion you lose it, and get the
Egg Basket which formerly had the same speed boost, but now is cosmetic, as well as the
Eagger Basket which now has the speed boost.

Where to farm? That is the question! Zones are mostly empty on the (Wrath) Classic servers and quite busy at Razor Hill and Goldshire on Retail. Each zone has its advantages and disadvantages for egg farming:

Horde:

Brill: Retail: Great variety of locations, most easy to find. A great place to farm. Wrath: Compact but the shrubbery is very heavily textured, making the eggs rather difficult to see as almost all the eggs are concealed in the bushes.
Razor Hill: Eggs are easy to see but you have a lot of running to do.
Bloodhoof Village: Some very devious / clever hiding of the eggs and a huge area to run around.
Falconwing Square: Compact and although attempts were made to hide the eggs, pnce you get a roll on you will zip through easily. Best for Horde!

Alliance:

Goldshire: Retail: Everyone comes here so respawns happen fast! No optimal route though. Classic: Eggs seem few and far between here.
Kharanos: Easy to see the eggs and your route will be a simple oval. A great location for Alliance, especially Classic!
Dolanaar: Eggs are mostly hidden in dense shrubs and there is a huge running area. Avoid!
Azure Watch: Compact, eggs are well hidden and there is no real optimal route.

Ideally you want a few other players with you as the respawns will come thick and fast and this situation is where Falconwing Square really shines. To see accurate maps (there aren't any here on Wowhead and indeed it is just not possible due to the imprecision of coordinates) I strongly suggest this AddOn by yours truly. It has almost every spawn point in every Classic and Retail zone too! Alliance? Toss-up between Goldshire and Kharanos with Goldshire shading it as its more social/fun.
