Actually the respawn on this guy is suprisingly fast, I had someone kill him in front of my eyes, and within 2 min he was back up and ready to die again.

Elusive is right... It helps to make a macro with /target Ironjaw, just hit the button every few seconds as you run around the area

When you first find him it's a easy kill.. Good luck finding im, I found him at 65.35. He is somewhere in that forest, just find him =P GL

This was one of the easiest quests i ever done in Terokkar Forest.
The only hard thing was to avoid the mobs between Allerian Stronghold and Firewing Point. =P

Submitted a great screenshot of Ironjaw, this, as he was attacking me! Coords were dead-on, (69, 33), and I had no problem looting his pelt. Thanks for all the infomation.

He is easily solo'd. He is not elite and has no others with him. Just stay within the coords 69,33 to 62,35 and you will find him. He has a brownish tint to his fur.

I was a little confused with this quest at first, I guess Blizzard has gotten lazy with names because there's two Ironjaws in-game; This one, and Old Ironjaw, an elusive frog in Ironforge. Either way, it seems anyone with the title Ironjaw is quite... elusive...

The quest rewards are not only good for stats at their level, but no matter what class you are, you will always get a decent helm for your armor type that looks like a "Wolfman" mask :D. I'm keeping the quest reward even at 70 when I do this quest with my main. Just too frickin awesome to pass. BTW, three of the helms from this quest (the plate, cloth, and mail ones) are the only wolfhead-style helms in the game of their type; the rest are all leather. So they're all unique in looks.

I found him in approximately the same place. Carbonite pinpointed his location, and just had to look around a little. He appears to move between two locations though.

68,33 was my spawn point, of course he is walking around, so just fly a little and you'll be sure to spot him :)

1. The Elusive Ironjaw
• Accept the quest, The Elusive Ironjaw, from Bertelm at coords 58.2, 54.8 (Allerian Stronghold).
• Travel northeast, toward Firewing Point, to the area of coords 69, 33.
• Kill Ironjaw, and loot Ironjaw's Pelt from its corpse.
• Travel southwest, to the Allerian Stronghold, located at coords 58.2, 54.8.
• Turn in the quest to Bertelm.

Description

Now that I have the fur I'll need for the trim, I've been thinking that the pelt of a particular wolf would make a good hood for my cloak. Imagine seeing your enemy clad in the pelt of the most cunning predator in the forest!

I've tried trapping old Ironjaw without success. I've tried cornering him, outsmarting him, and baiting him. None of it has worked.

He stalks the northeastern reaches of the forest, and I'd gladly reward you if you could succeed where I have failed.
