Don't let the numbers fool you: even though these appear to be the easiest bird to kill to get Northern Eggs because they're the lowest level bird to drop these eggs, they're rather hard to farm.

These birds fly around overhead, occasionally perching themselves on rocks or swooping down to feed on the carcasses that litter the area. The taller rocks may prove hard to reach even to those with long-range magic. By far, the easiest way to grind these would most likely be to fly through the air, aggroing as many as possible, then bringing them to the ground to finish them with AoEs.

However, for those without flying mounts or cold-weather flying training, don't fret! You won't have to wait for these scavengers to swoop to get their eggs or feathers. Instead, set up a macro with something like follows:

/target carrion condor
/cast exorcism

This macro works well for a paladin, but has a format that can be used for every class. Simply replace "exorcism" with your ranged spell of choice, and viola! You'll be having tasty cupcakes for dessert and be falling from the highest of cliffs with ease in no time!
