Great Job on this, looking forward to seeing more, maybe a client to collect the quests.
All I have to say is WoW guys, :D.Great job adding this wonderful website for those of us who can't get enough. I hope to be joining the beta this weekend (hopefully Friday but just got the email today confirming me for Saturday in the second wave) and becoming a contributor to Torhead in the coming months. I've been play WoW since release but I've decided to finally hand up my armor and become the gamer I've always craved to be. I was 5 yrs old when I first saw Star Wars and I turn 40 in January, so this is in a way the most sweetest gift I could get. 35 Years as a Star Wars fan is nuts huh? Lmao. But again I want to thank everyone that contributed to building this new site and believe me that I will be contributing as much as possible to the Torhead community.
Hoping for a Diablohead. I know it's not an MMO but this DB would be amazing for it.
I very much enjoy WOWHEAD so I am very happy to see you guys get into Star Wars also with TORHEAD. I for one will be playing both games. I could never leave WoW heh.
So the lads over at Blizzard must be excited to see an official fansite develop a clone-site dedicated to a rival MMO, right? :)As regards the similar skill trees(it's quite obvious they are), I think most people as a first reaction will be disappointed to see nothing innovative in them but deep down they'll be feeling good about dealing with something that is familiar to them. That's the reaction process I went through when I was making an arms warrior (it was a sith something, I truly don't remember the exact name because I was thinking of it as an arms warrior all along) spec over on torhead at least. So if BioWare have managed to be innovative in other areas while keeping the basics familiar to "old" MMO players the torhead community might indeed grow to a reasonable size.edit - added on-topic stuff.
MMOs tend to be a Highlander affair, there can be only one. I must admit i do love WoW it is in a rare class of adoration but Cata sadly shows it's time has come for me and Mists of Pnadaria seals it's fate. Off the reviews for it ad Cata i have to say WoW will always be around but it's time as #1is good as gone. But yes best of luck to each game may i return to WoW after this Kung Fu panda nonsense when SWtOR gets old. But until then so long old friend so long it was a damn fine 7 years
IDK, I'm not too impresses with TOR. I think I'll take a break from the MMO scene in general though.
Is the link broken? It seems to redirect to some random website instead of the new torhead site
