This may be a bug, but I upvoted a comment and it added 2 votes to it. It started out at 2 but went up to 4. I tested on another comment and it also added 2. I'm not sure why it would do this.
As an avid user of StackExchange, I whole-heartedly approve the new Comment system. :DOne question though: Will you be supporting Markdown as well?
This is abysmal. I like some of the others, come here for quick information. The new comment system is just a jumbled mess. You became better than Thottbot, which is why we all ended up here. Now we're all just waiting for someone else to become better than your new system, which honestly wouldn't take much effort at this point.
Hmhh... about the making useful comments into stickies by moderators. I was wondering how this would go, and today I came across my first stickie; on the Sea Pony http://www.wowhead.com/item=73953#commentsNow.. to me this is a clear example of what should NOT be stickied :/The page is about the Sea Pony pet, and the comments then should be mostly about how to get the pet, etc.. right? Yet the only comment that got stickied here, informs us that in the same waters you can get the Sea Pony, you can also fish up a rare fish required for the One That Didn't Get Away achievement.. So this comment that now shows up on top as mega important, informs us about something completely different than the Sea Pony, plus, as far as I know is also pretty redundant since you can fish up a fish required for that achi in almost ANY waters ingame..Yet for example the second highest rated comment there which is very informative about where to catch the Sea Pony and what it looks like, does not get stickied. So um yeah.. I would like some moderation for stickied comments as well :/ (I have reported the comment with an explanation like the above, so hopefully that works)

Just stopped by here to say that i dont like the new commenting systemGood:The new buttons for upvote or downvoteBad:The replies for commentsAnd omg, the replies for comments are a real abomination, there are comments with 40 replies that become huge walls of text, with some grey lines that cant almost be seen. Why did you guys had to put them all together instead of just leaving them like they were (their own square for each reply), and maybe put a drop down button on the first comment "see the replies to this comment" to show them.Remember guys, Thottbot failed because of the bloated info and horrible comment system. And people came to Wowhead for its simplicity.Like someone said a few pages ago, ¿why fix what is not broken?
There should be a way to report replies. Right now all you can do is report the comment it is attached to.
I still hold on to my opinion that the old system was much better. =/
My only critisism is that you should be able to see what patch the comment was made in, the date is pointless if you don't know when the patches came out.
Personally, I dislike the new comment system. I understand that many people do like the changes, and I think a good way to compromise would be to include , an option to change it back to the old style under individual user settings.
Sometimes, responses are full of information that need more than 500 characters. And sometimes it's nice to see highlighted responses among the responses....I dunno. I just feel like this new system was really something NOT needed at all. Count me in the "don't fix what wasn't broken" crowd.edit: Also, not being able to downvote responses = BAD. BAD BAD BAD BAD. People could clutter up a page with misinformation if we're not able to moderate them in some way. Some of these changes make zero sense. Please rethink this 'overhaul'.
