I love to go to Wavestrider Beach, get out my "Romantic Picnic Basket" and my "Perky Pug", and fish up some "oily blackmouth" with a nice campfire and a bottle of the latest ale from the Brew of the month club. Cheers!
So the contest ended like 3 days ago, and there have only been 3 winners... When are the other 4 going to be picked?
I always enjoyed Sunrock Retreat in Stone Talon Mountains. I liked the look and feel of the place, plus with the name I always imagined that was where the battle-weary horde took their vacations. I have fond memories of jumping off a cliff into the pond there.
In Tirisfal Glades, just north of Dethknell, is a lake that is only reachable by flying. on the shore is a lone beach longer and sun umbrella. Its an undead's vacation getaway that isn't very far away.
My favorite place would have to be River's Heart in Sholazar Basin. The reason would be because its a nice and peaceful place to fish with beautiful scenery.
My favorite place is Hellfire Peninsula, because I love the look of it's sky.
Icecrown, because rekilling undead is fun.
My Favorite place would be Hellfire, I love the way the sky looks when I am flying around there.
well whenever i'm asked this question i always have to go back to Ratchet..i'll never forget when i first started playing years ago and was so new to the game and its zones. a new friend i'd just made asked me where i wanted to go, and i said i didn't know anywhere yet, lol! so she said, "ok, i wanna take you to Ratchet". and i thought, "huh? did she say Ratchet?" ha ha.. but wow, i was so blown away! the palm trees on sandy beaches, which is my favorite environment in r/l, and the pirate influence, a favorite theme of mine in books and movies.. i felt so warm and content! and then after having explored the vendors and watering holes, i later explored the outer edges of the outpost and discovered its transition into an African style savanna.. the Barrens! being a student of geography and geology, i've always been fascinated by geographic transition zones. and sure, there is also Booty Bay, but it's larger size and hustle and bustle as a quest hub makes it lack the charm and quaintness that i love about Ratchet.also, the fact that it borders the Barrens only makes it all the more ideal to me, as i LOVED questing in the Barrens on an old trial toon as a Horde. otherwise, i only have one main toon and he's Ally, so that highlights how much i love Ratchet and and its surrounding zones, in that it's not even part of my faction's native and often visited lands! i know that once i've had my fill of my main toon's end-game content, my very first "new toon" will be Horde, and i'll be questing as SLOWLY as possible in the Barrens, with frequent vend/mail visits and casual respites in Ratchet.. :)so yeah, wow, i always have to go back to Ratchet when thinking of my favorite places in Azeroth. and in fact, it's been a while, im logging on and going there right now! so if you see a red-headed dwarf fishing off the beach, /poke me.. ;)-owsleydwarf
My favorite place in WoW has always been Nagrand. It was in BC that I really started to learn the ins and outs of the game, and some of my best memories of the time were leveling with friends through the awesome scenery and constantly fighting for Halaa. It also brought back Hemet, with a whole new slew of quests mirroring my favorite chains in STV.
My favorite place is Dalaran, i always loved the architectural aspect of Dalaran.
my favorite place in WoW is Un'Goro crater.... b/c it looks like a jungle from the prehistoric times, love the dinos!
My favorite place in World of Warcraft is Booty Bay, I love pirrrratttes;)yarrr!
