http://www.wowhead.com/?forums&topic=114544&p=1318063Is a post I made regarding this idea and its supporting of it

I agree with the given speculations - Before any of the SWC was established, the goblins served the horde alone.Lord Greymane, one of the humans to call upon the worgen, was originally in the Alliance before he went into reclusion in Glineas, behind the Greymane wall.Plus,WORGEN DEATHKNIGHT. C'mon!
I think adding new races would be stupid... They already added classes inBC and now it's kinda too late... Would sucks for people who really want one of them but don't want to lvl again...In my opinion new hero class would be much better...
Alright, look me in the eyes and tell me you don't want to play as this CharacterYou can'r do it, can you?
Hey, Skullcandy here.Ahem *clears throat*Complete gibberish. I think this was blown way out of proportion. I think that this 'information' is just people trying to jump to conclusions. Perhaps the developers were making a mask at a time, trying to make the masks look better (hi-res) and these two just happened to be the first. The other masks prove (sort of) that Blizzard is either a) Trying to throw us off the scent, and enjoying this misinterpretation of misinformation squabble. Or b) Actually making Halloween Masks.Worgen and Goblins? Really? How would they fit into the next expansion? If the next expansion is South Seas, Goblins maybe, but not Worgen. If the next one is Emerald Dream, Worgen maybe, not Goblins. There's no way Blizz will release both as the same expansion. What do the two races have in common? Nothing. Also, I was looking at some Goblins today. They are far too ugly to even consider making a class. Far too unshapely and FAT. All the characters we can play as today are lean (relatively) and muscular, with excellent dimensions. I could believe that Worgen might be a playable race in the future, but not paired with Goblins. In fact, Goblins will NEVER be a playable race, unless Blizz get's desperate, which they won't.Just to be the devil's advocate, I'll list my view on possible Worgen classes, and my reasoning.1] Warrior: This should be an easy one. Every race should have a Warrior class. Worgen are beastial, with strength and fortitude. The rational behind Blood Elves being Warrior-less is: Since Blood Elves are so magic hungry, if you are strong enough to be a Warrior, you become a Paladin.2] Hunter: Another basic one. They are so in touch with their inner beast that they are excellent trackers. They would probably have good influence over animals in the first place.3] Shaman: I know that Omacron* and Pride*(? Maybe Snapplemonkey or Cantus ?) Seemed to think that druids were more likely than Shaman, but I disagree. I don't think a Worgen would be able to shape shift to a bear, cat, moonkin, owl, raven, cheetah, tree, and seal, and not be able to turn back into their original race. If you just imagine a Worgen with Draenai totems around it, you'll see what I'm looking at.4] Priest: Two reasons. One: Worgen probably have the Will needed to be a priest. They are in touch with the shadow, and all the Light requires for you to be a user is that you believe and be trained. Worgen have the Will to be faithful. Two: The game needs another race with a solid healing class. Period.5] Mage/Warlock: Depending on the story Blizz decides to use, the Worgen could either be creatures of the shadow, created in part by Archmage Arugal, and thus, Warlock would be perfect. Otherwise, they are cross plane travellers, thus giving them an Arcane background. In my opinion, Mages and Warlocks are pretty much the same, lore wise. Warlocks are just Mages that are more reckless and more willing to risk the dive into the Shadow. However, it is unlikely that Blizz will include both.6] Death Knight: Because it would be 'unfair' if Worgen weren't Death Knights. ** Listen to But Wait! There's Lore. On WCRadio.com to understand who these people are.
To sleep, perchance, to dream...
Agreed. Good call.
Welcome to Wowhead. What you just did there is called a "necro". Not to be rude or anything, but that's frowned upon. :/As for what you said about the Goblin racials, they seem -very- nice. I can't wait to swap my Mage to one. :D
They better not switch the Worgen and Goblins >:(The Horde just needs to stop the QQing and just get over it! (And that's putting my thoughts nicely >.> )
