I don't see the big deal. It was unimaginably difficult for most players to get the mount/title in nilla. If everyone could get it, we'd all be special snowflakes in a sea of special snowflakes; kind of like legendaries in Legion. Very few ppl who have the mount still play, so it'll be very special to see the updated one nowadays even. We nasty casuals still get two updated mounts, in the end the black one is just a re-color anyway. Kudos to Blizzard for not handing out everything to everyone.
People who transfred to a new realm back in wotlk and abused the system to get a new mount."lets give them another mount again"...............
What a pointless move. Hardly anyone still playing has that mount to begin with.
grats to the people who paid or got one from the bug back in WOTLK you def earnd it :|
Being a Scarab Lord myself, I think this was unnecessary. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with the new model, although I think the old one still looks better. It seems kinda unfair to reward very old achievements with another mount 10 years later. For your info, the old model is not replaced, Scarab Lords have access to both the old and new model, they're 2 separate mounts.
I have an idea for Blizzard. Now that this seems to be their idea of how to introduce new mounts. That new horse mount model from Battle for Azeroth. I'm sure you've seen it.What if we make it a player mount, but only give it to owners of the original Palomino Bridle! That sounds reasonable and fair. Those players deserve their prestige.
I actually prefer by far the old models!
So bliz designed a mount for an exact amount of people that bought an achievement years ago....
