I like winter veil. I felt more holiday cheer and festiveness and holiday culture than in day to day real life. In real life, people just buy you things you didnt really need and so you buy them things they didnt really need. Its a big waste of resources and insincereness wrapped up in commercialism. But in winter veil..PUT ON YOUR SNOW CAPS BOYS WE GOTTA SAVE BLITZEN, YETI MOUNT YOLO WOOOOOT
My favorite is Hallow's End. But Midsummer will always hold a special place in my heart b/c it was the final world event for me to get my Violet Proto-drake!
My favorite is Brewfest because the ram race requires more skill than most if not all other seasonal quests.
Not sure about favorite, but Love is in the Air was my first. I went around the world at low level, in the pre-Cata version. All that trouble for an epic reward, something amazing, something special; a slinky dress! My burly tauren's ensemble was complete.
Hallow's end! Still need that mount... Been trying to get the mount since the 1st Hallow's end, I will get it someday
My favorite Holiday is Hallows End. This is the first ever event I have done and I remember this one the most. I really enjoyed going around in Razor Hill putting out fires and killing the Headless horseman. I also loved getting candy and turning into things via tricks. This will always be my favorite holiday in WoW.
Hallow's end, simply because of the feline familiar and the instantly mount (the broom ...)
I'd say the feast of Winter Veil is my favorite. In the Netherlands we don't typically celebrate Christmas, but for some reason the warm feeling of staying inside next to my own little Christmas tree while the snow falls outside makes me the happiest little bun in the world. Seeing that same joy in WoW, every town decorated with a little cheer and joy, just fills my heart with delight.Plus it's always super fun to open the presents and play with the new toys santa brought to Ironforge! <3
Love is in the Air is my favorite holiday. I have a few special traditions with my SO we like to do in-game, and I keep hoping I'll get that rocket mount one year. :D
Midsummer has always been my favorite. The xp buff is great for leveling alts, the fires themselves are fantastic for leveling alts, and as someone who has had one of every class at max level since Cataclysm, it's a very alt friendly holiday.
Favorite holiday event has to be Hallow's End. Mainly has been since I started back in 2005, where gathering in Goldshire to save the buildings and killing the Headless Horseman as an alliance. Always looking forward to new cosmetic costumes during the events, and therefore I choose Hallow's End!
I collect pins, would love to win this one. Hallows end is fun, but Midsummer was epic, exploring all the areas for the fires.
Winters Veil, love the theme, the presents, seeing everyone do the dailies and such, a lot of fun.
I think I like Hallows End the most, maybe because it's not celebrated in our country, so it somehow still feels special to me :) and I like all the creepy and spooky stuff, it's so much fun :)
Lunar festival had always been my favorite. I remember back in it's realise trying to form raid to down Omen. It was also cool finding all of the elders around Azeroth and inside dungeons.
Most of all I love Hallow's End, for me it was the most original event.First and foremost, the boss, "Headless Horseman", is an original and thoughtful boss, he has an excellent charisma, he can cause both emotion and fear and his set, just gorgeous :)Regarding the tasks, it is in this event that the players seem to me more open to communication, and if I take the tasks in the Undercity, I can immediately come across players who have just begun to play, they do not understand anything and write to the general chat, explain to them that now happens, and you help them to get their first aid, it's cool.As for the rewards, #pokingthehead with which some are running until now, it's a tribute to the holiday and some pride, that you participated in this event, and maybe you did not knock out the horse, but you had fun with other players.Of course I will not describe everything exactly, but definitely, this is my favorite event :)All good and love!
Love is in the Air is my favourite holiday as I met my now husband through WoW many years ago and we always take a gondola ride around Darnassus together lol :D
My favorite wow holiday is definitely Winter Veil. It just adds to the cheer around Christmas time, and there's something special about opening those gifts in game too. Always puts a smile on my face.
Midsummer is actually my favourite because it was the first I participated in, and I distinctly remember making an Alliance and Horde toon to experience the dancing around the maypole (still prefer the Horde music though - i'm not sorry). I only wish that the garlands were still available for Midsummer - but at least they're in the game now. Winter's Veil is a close second!
Hallows End is definitely my favourite WoW holiday because I started playing when it was going on. I can't think of a holiday that could be added to WoW but I'd love to see more holiday mounts added to the game
