I think it would be better without Ingenuity because that is more RNG. Concentration + Ingenuinty sounds like a way to keep Inspiration in the game, but make it more complicated. The worst part about DF professions is certainly not Inspiration.Need to go back to a system where the buyer has to supply all non-soulbound mats. If you can buy it from the AH, it needs to be supplied by the buyer. We also need some basic NPC crafting orders (with gold) that are unique to each person that use one of the four available crafting orders. So people putting in public crafting orders will actually need to provide commissions or no one will feel pressured to accept their order out of desperation. And we should be able to specify minimum quality in public orders, at the very least up to one rank below max rank. Also anything made from crafting orders (unless made by another toon on your account for the weekly crafting order quests) should become account-bound (warbound-until-equipped in TWW).-I would also make anything purchased from the AH account-bound to destroy all the AH flippers.Inscription and Engineering need a better way to level them.Increase the base ilvl of lvl 70 crafted gear that does not have a spark/enchanted crest in it, at the beginning of each season. The basic lvl 70 crafted gear is ilvl 343, but Normal dungeons will drop ilvl 460 in S4. The lvl 61 crafted gear is fine.Hardware ban botters.
If this is carried on with the current skill point system they're just saying that you are limited by time instead of assuring you the max rank whenever you want with that stat. It was RNG, yes, but reforging would let you do until you got it whenever you want. Inspiration was really bad for consumables or craftables that couldn't be reforged, but for those who weren't, it was a pretty good system. But instead of separating the two kinds of crafting, they just rework the same thing all over again making a bad mid term. I don't know, let the inspiration as it is now for rank crafts of gear and instead make that kind of "concentration" for consumables and do something that's not limited by time? What they could do instead of crafting bs stats is doubling the specialized skill points for almost whatever you're specializing to and not having you need 200 points to specialize in something in particular just cause you're scratching skill points for almost everywhere you can while giving you 15 points in a week.It feels like they don't even tried to play with their system in the current situation and we're just test subjects on their doing.
I dislike the new crafting system, and would prefer if they just went back to the old ways. That's my opinion.
So concertation is essentially a CD so you won't be able to craft for your customers too many times, essentially making the personal orders for good gear (which today in many cases needs inspiration even if u have max points and tools) with a CD as it's today with public orders that limit you to 4 times a day. It's a big change from today that we can just recraft gear until it proc, and with that have a pool of customers that we can craft them anything they want without a problem. I think it will lead to customers needing to look for random crafters all the time, without someone that they can already know and count on like today. It's better for scammers, bad for low pop realms, bad for serious crafters and bad for customers.
I don't think this is a good change to be honest, as this is going to inflate commission a lot (!). Great for crafters, bad for everyone else. I've spend a lot of my time this expansion to level up all my profs and gathering all recipes. It eventually paid off, but this change seems like a crafter will get the gold thrown at them. Reset day is gonna be a bidding war for all the leftover Concentration.
The new system "stolen" from other games was a garbage idea, this sounds a bit better, but still is a garbage system to have to rely in so many things to get what you want (mat quality is ok, the rest, isnt)
Every person throwing a tantrum about this is genuinely either illiterate or borderline *!@#$%ed.
