Happy you all!
i am thankful for my friendsand my father, who has worked so hard to provide me with endless opportunity, i am truly thankful
I am thankful for... my heater? yes!
I've made plenty of friends on WoW, an ungodly amount, actually. But, what I'm most thankful for is for the time I was able to spend with a friend of mine who was killed in a car wreck. We were attending the same high school, and we both loved WoW. We spent tons of time together playing, and we even secluded ourselves from the rest of our friends to play "just the two of us" on a completely random server, away from our main characters and everyone else.We only got to level 35, but we had a blast doing it. We'd alternate between Warcraft 3 (mainly DotA) and WoW, and spend all day together playing both.Sadly, he was killed in a car wreck, and I miss him so much. But, if it wasn't for the World of Warcraft, we would have never spent as much time as we did together. I think about him all the time, and I just have so many great memories from in-game with him. :)*Edit* For some reason, after reflecting on this post, a memory popped in my head very clearly.I was driving us two to the bowling alley one night, and he brought up the fact that we needed mounts soon.Him: "We are almost 40, how are we going to both afford getting our mounts?"Me: "Well...uh... I remember that the whiskers from those cats in STV near Nesingwary sells pretty well, but they don't drop too much."And we went on and on scheming on how to make money for our mounts...Sadly we never got to 40, but that conversation is a great memory for me.I am thankful for this blog entry, because it made me realise just how thankful I am for getting to spend time with Joe in WoW.Happy Thanksgiving, all!
What a touching read, thank you for making me feel warm and fuzzy inside :)/group hug
That was a good read, Malgayne. You should post it on that WoW addict's site and see how they react to it.
