might be a good ideea to add that the pet and the cloth helm both needed for sinister calling achievement can drop from the bag you get from the treat or trick action on the innkeepers. I got pet like that 3 days ago and i also got cloth helm today
Question regarding the quest for Jesper:The quest itself is not apparently repeatable, since it's a yellow exclamation mark rather than blue. Although as I type this out I can't say I went back to check to see if it reset after a day, but I'd be surprised. However the innkeepers offer their part of the quest again. For instance, if my character flexes for Innkeeper Allison, immediately after that they can re-take the quest to flex for nougat. Is there any reason to get multiples of these quest items?
Oh yeah, I got Jack-o'-Lantern from an Ogre in Nagrand!
Well, I've spent a week killing the Headless Horseman... I have gotten every Achievement for the Hallow's End World Event except for one: Sinister Calling. I've gotten the Sinister Squashling, but I have never had the Hallowed Helm drop. The Helm is all that stops me from getting my Violet Proto-Drake (via What A Long, Strange Trip It's Been)

Man, it would really be nice if Blizz would at least make the drops from these holiday bosses vendorable or DE'able. For one thing, it would keep a little more interest in running the boss throughout the duration of the event. I know already on our server it is getting to be impossible to find tanks and heals because so many people have gotten their achievment items already. So now the only thing keeping them running it is the mount chance, and that is so slim that its really not worth the time. For what its worth, my experience so far with the HH has been pretty good. I have gotten Sinister Calling on both my 80's, so at least that is out of the way. I also have the plate helm and sword on my Pally, and even have the sword on my Warlock just for kicks. Right now I'm just waiting on a toothpick to finish up on my Warlock.
Can I just say: Damn that Helm!
Odd. I've had the Sinister Calling achievement on three or four characters now. None of them are over level 23. I just kept trick or treating -- on one day I talked to the innkeepeers every hour on every character almost all day long. In between that I was doing other random short things, like fishing or doing the Stop the Fires! quest in Goldshire.I also got tons and tons of wands and masks and penny pouches and candy, but... at least it was easy to do.
you know that you can complete the daily quest for the fires and have a chance to get the helm as well as the pet...that is how i got my pet and a few helms. anyways for those that didn't get it this year, good luck next year
