:P I'm doing my best to not get in trouble right now; I'm at work and rather than actually doing any work, I'm obsessively regularly refreshing the Twitter page for new info. For anyone not following the tweets, here are the announced dungeons for the new xpac: The Firelands, Uldum, Blackrock Caverns, Grim Batol, Skywall, and Heroic Deadmines and Shadowfang Keep.
isn't it funny how Dranei got no other class combos?
Deathwing looks glorious, the metal plow-jaw is sick. I like the new artwork they're showing. Very dark, very brutal, very cool.
I tryed to make a comment but I could not because there were so many things I had on my mind
I love that Azeroth is getting revitalized, but I fail to see how that will solve the problem of abandoned old content. Outlands was abandoned after WotLK, and Northrend will be after Cataclysm. (We need a short-hand for that, CC maybe?) And the only zones in Azeroth that are going to be revitalized are going to be the ones that are changed into high level zones. A new (and awesome) graphical update to whatever the equivalent of the current barrens will be isn't going to be enough that level 85's will stand around talking in general there. New old content, if that makes sense, is going to be very cool. High level characters are going to take a look through, or roll a new alt to see it all. New players are going to see it all again, but then we'll all just keep congregating in the new neutral city and high level zones. This post isn't meant to be QQ. I love the idea of reshaping Azeroth, and I can't wait to see it. I was never terribly upset that there was no one in old Azeroth when I was at 70 in TBC and 80 now. It was there if I wanted to see it again or roll another character, and all the really fun parts of the game were available to me in Outlands/Northrend. I like that we will spend all of our end game time in some of the old zones again, but I don't see how it can be claimed (and I'll admit, it isn't officially Blizzard claiming this) that the ghost town known as 'everything that isn't Northrend' is going to suddenly become populous again.
