Now we need Theotar the Sane Duke
That legion questline was dark. Like... actually dark. A lot of people go down a similar path as Runas, from the self denial to the complete breakdown and eventual inevitable...Great quest but wow
i will be honest, i was about to pass him and go right to elisande when something clicked in my brain and i had to go back and check. glad to see him again honestly
It is good to see a version of Runas thriving. The Legion quests for him for a bit heart wrenching in that we could not do anything to help him meet a better fate.He also meant a lot to Senegos it seems. It was touching to see a journal entry just for Runas in Senegos' Magical Tome during the Blue Dragonflight quest line in patch 10.1.https://i.imgur.com/zzMhOlv.png
Good catch a week after the quests release! Well done!
There is not a lot that sticks with me in this game but even now years later I can still clearly remember Runas.
Well, if one takes into account that chances are that this was all due to Tyr's Backup Disk, it just proves that he's Best Keeper
Runas was always Runas the Bright to us. :')
Given that Elisande in that alternate timeline has learnt various secrets held in the memory disks of Tyr, she will likely come back into play alongside the Shal'dorei in that world after they avert the Legion crisis of 2016 and perhaps either disrupt the timelines or contribute in some way to helping us fix them. Runas will no doubt at that time play a part, and we might learn more then about his perceived 'connection' to us. Alternatively it is a red herring and merely an easter egg for those who remember old Runas's tragic tale in Aszuna. Either way, I can appreciate the presence though at first I did not exactly recognise how I knew Runas, once reminded of him though I remember his story well.
