Macro modifiers don't work for me

Despite having deleted all the wtf and wdb files/folders and unloading all my addons, none of my macros will honor the use of modifiers.
, or
for example, I have one for my paladins mounting :
#showtooltip
/cast Snowy Gryphon; Charger;
The icon changes when i hold shift, so its partially working....but it does nothing when i press the mount key im using...
I tried changing the mount key to others....but nothing.

Mmm, i know this works :
/cast Charger;
But when I introduce the modifier conditional, it doesn't respond.
/cast Charger;

This macro is something to think about. First off you're using which is a conditional and has to be first in the macro, it's just the same with modifiers. So..
#showtooltip
/cast Snowy Gryphon; Charger
Using a modifier for this is pretty much useless. I understand what you want to do tho. If you want to use a modifier use it for your ground mount, but if you're going to do that you don't need . So...
#showtooltip
/cast Charger; Snowy Gryphon
Its going to do what you want it to do, just without . Looks backwards, i know, but it'll do what you want.
I believe the macro he's trying to achieve is this:
/cast Snowy Gryphon; Charger
In other words: If I can fly, use my flying mount. If i cannot fly, use my ground mount. If I'm holding a modifier key, use my ground mount regardless of whether or not I can fly.

Wandering, your
mod
option on the second entry is redundant. The
nomod
check in the first one implies mod for the second.
/cast Flyer; Land
Wasn't trying to be efficient XD an extra conditional in a macro isn't really a huge then when you're not fighting the space limitation. I was just trying to illustrate the point ^_^

I'm still not having any luck, so what i have done (since i'm using domnios) is create a 2nd bar (bar no.5) that will show the contents of bar 6 on ctrl, bar 7 on alt & bar 8 on shift.
I put my :
/cast Snowy Gryphon;
/cast Charger;
on the first slot of bar 5, and just opened my pets & mounts tab, then dragged my charger to the first slot on bar 7.
After that, i hide bars 6,7 & 8. Then I associated f1 to the first slot.
I would need to make sure I don't use f4 on that bar :)
Also since i am using ZOMGbuffs, which ties all my buffing to my mousewheel, I almost never miss out on a requried buff depending on my situations (mounted requies Crusader Aura, not mounted means i need anyone of my blessings and retribution aura).

Nope none of your suggestions work.
Thing is, my original macro worked pre-patch...now it doesnt.
Your superfluous semicolons could be @#$%ing with it.
I doubt it. otherwise the icon would not change when i use the modifier key
edit: after trying afew things i discovered that if i only click the button with a macro of :
#showtooltip
/cast Charger
/cast Snowy Gryphon
the actionbar slot has keybindings : F1, ctrl + f1, shift + f1, alt +f1 tied to it.
it mounts me on my charger when i hold alt and left click on the button.
it mounts me on my bird when i left click without holding alt.
it mounts me on my bird when i press F1 while holding alt
itmounts me on my bird when i press F1
note : the icon changes to the charger icon. when ever i hold alt.
FurtherEdit: Totally wierd. using autobar (note this approach didnt work before i swear it) :
I made a custom catergory called MyMounts,
i clicked new item
i dragged the above macro into the dropbox for the new item
i created a new button, and assigned the MyMount category to it
i tied F1 to the button
i placed the new button on the 'basic bar'
It now works as i originally expected it to. NO idea what was going on.
I had also tried wiping all data config files and addons and using default ui...which didnt work either...but now it does.

Oh, you bound all key combinations to one button? That would explain why the modifier does not work - when you bind and press a key combination, it is treated as a whole and will not raise the modifier flag - if you set and use ctrl+1 for example, would not be active. That is also why it works with your mouse - the "combination" is left_button, not ctrl + left_button.
For future reference, modifiers have no effect on the keybinding, nor does the keybinding itself affect modifiers.

Yes...
#showtooltip
/cast Ground Mount
/cast Flying Mount; Ground Mount
Does work, I tried it. I now use it.
In flyable area - left click = flying mount, shift click = ground mount.
In a non flyable area all it will do is use ground mount.
just for the record, it could be shortened to:
#showtooltip
/cast Ground Mount; Flying Mount
(at least that should work... it's 1:30am so I might not be thinking straight :P)
