WoW keeps crashing
Return to board index

My WoW keeps randomly crashing, I've had this problem for about 3 days, and whenever it crashes it shows a window like this:
Wow
This application has encountered a critical error:
Not enough storage is avalible to process this command.
Program: E:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\WoW.exe
Object: VERT (.AUVERT@@)
Requested 263680 bytes of memory
Press OK terminate the application.
The only thing I understood was "Not enough storage is avalible to process this command."
So I tried deleting some things to free some space, but it still didn't work. It annoyed me so much that I reinstalled the entire computer, reinstalled all the addons I wanted, but it keeps happening.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

Are you running Vista by any chance?
My new laptop that's running Vista has done this twice so far and made me $&%# a brick both times. I just disabled my sidebar and got ride of some programs I didn't need and it hasn't happened again.
If you're nto runnign Vista however I don't know what to tell you.

There's a post on this same error on the WoW forums but there wasn't an answer really - just people telling the OP to go post on the WoW technical forums.
One person did mention that when they got similar errors on another file they ran the repair tool for WoW and it corrected the issue.

PS: It seems this only happens on my Warlock. Might this have something to do with Necrossis?
PPS: I tried to log in and do some stuff with my other warlock (To this day I dont know why I have two), it only crashes on the warlock that I play with. (Kohai)

I did that, reinstalled all my addons, and coppied the WTF folder from before I repaired it, so I wont have to set all the addons that I had before again.
Maybe the problem lies inside the WTF folder?

If its only with your lock, chances are it has to do with Necrossis, my first thought is you have Necrossis, not necrosis ldc, which is the up to date version, if that is the issue, try uninstalling Necrosis and getting LDC version. Other than that all i can say is get ahold of blizz tech support. or comb their tech support forums. GL

It's possible that you do not have enough RAM to handle WoW, any addons you may have, and programs running in the background. That's what I deduced from the error message you provided.
How much RAM do you have?

I agree with some guys above me: How much RAM do you have? Could it be your RAM has a defect?

How do I know how much RAM I have? ;S
Anyway, I went
here
and it told me to delete my Cache folder, so I did, and it still doesn't work.

Why you came here I don't know. I don't see how anyone here could be of any help.
Because it keeps saying "Login error" even though I put my account and password name right.

Right click on "My Computer" (?) and choose "Properties" (?)
There you should see which system you have. Your CPU and your RAM. RAMs are those bars sticked in your Motherboard.
This is for Win XP and translated. I tried my best...

It's funny that his subject was bought up as yesterday my WoW crashed at least 15 times until I finally gave up and decided to use the Blizzard repair tool located in your World of Warcraft folders.
I choose for it to check my files only and surpisingly enough it told me I have some serious corrupted files and it also told me that I'd had to revert back to a previous patch. (2.0) After a few hours of downloading and updating I was able to obtain a nice long session of WoW playing time without it giving me any errors.
I know how hard it is not to be able to play the game but in the mean time while it was doing all the updating and downloading I managed to do some things around the house that was left to do from like a month ago (lol exaggerating). My bedroom is actually clean now and the kitchen now looks a bit cleaner. I actually took time to make me a good dinner lol!
