Major changes i caught and like as found on
MMO-Champ
and
Battlenet
.
Talents
Left
___Lunar Inspiration (Feral) - Moonfire is now usable while in Cat Form, generates 1 combo point, deals damage based on attack power, and costs 30 energy.
Middle
___
Bloody Thrash (Feral) - Thrash now also applies the Rake bleed effect to all damaged enemies and awards 1 combo point if it strikes your current combo target.
Right
___Savagery (Feral) - Savage Roar is now passive.
I was thinking i would swap talents depending on the fight, because earlier it just SPREAD rake, but now it will apply rake and give a cp. Essentially this will replace the need to even use rake.
Spell removal
_ Enrage has been removed.
_ Innervate has been removed. Mana costs for Druids have been adjusted accordingly.
_
Mangle (Cat Form) has been removed
. Mangle (Bear Form) remains unchanged.
_ Nourish has been removed.
_ Shred is now available to all Druids.
_ Swipe (Bear Form) has been removed. Swipe (Cat Form) remains unchanged.
_ Symbiosis has been removed.
At first this had me worried, until i read this next part.
Facing Requirements
_
Druid: Shred no longer requires the Druid to be behind the target.
Now, there are a LOT of other changes incoming, however those were the two i wanted to highlight and do a happydance about.

I really don't understand this decision. This offered utility for nearly every class that they could bring to a raid.

Yea, I don't get it either, was quite peeved. But at least i don't
have
to be behind anymore.

Yup, I won't miss old Shred either.

Why did you have to make the topic Feral druids only...

Why did you have to make the topic Feral druids only...
Feel free to make more for Balance, Resto, Guardian :) Since this is the Druid subforum and the specs are different topics in that context, they each warrant a single thread.

Why did you have to make the topic Feral druids only...
Because i main spec Feral and its easy to post your own on another spec?
Also i linked to both pages with all the notes so it can be researched there if more info is warranted for another play style.

Also one thing that has peeved me.
The level 90-Talent row for Druids was designed to encourage hybrid gameplay. We decided that, while you shouldn't have to give up a significant amount of your primary role throughput in order to gain the off-role benefit, you also
don't need to gain an actual benefit to your primary role
throughput benefit either.
We've reduced the power of their primary role benefit, making them roughly neutral in their effect on your primary role
.
TLDR Level 90 talents are effen pointless to bother getting now. Love how blizz is all we wanna encourage hybrid gameplay.... Yea, you split feral druids into guardian and feral due to love of hybrid....

Found on wowhead changes notes!
On combo points in Cat Form:
PS since several people asked but may not have seen the reply: Cat Form combo points will transfer with target swaps as well.
— Lore (@CM_Lore) April 4, 2014
and also!
On cosmetic transformations, including special use items:
.@PennoyerKor Actually, yes, we're working on a system to let you retain cosmetic transforms after shifting in/out of form.
— Watcher (@WatcherDev) April 4, 2014
@Druidis4fite @PennoyerKor Yes. Use Noggenfogger, turn into skeleton. Shift into cat. Now you're a cat. Shift out. Back to skeleton.

About time. It was an okay ability in vanilla, but since then it's just been that button you click when it's off cooldown. Macroed so you don't have to bother do switch target, of course.
Symbiosis has been removed.
Good riddance. You only used a few of the abilities anyway, and being unable to pick the ability you wanted because a certain class was missing was just frustrating.

I only would've wished for a druid version of
Wilted Lilypad
, or that this item would simply pick a random source class for druids, but in general,
is an awesome ability. Even if it had limited use, merely the idea of attuning yourself with a group member is perfectly fitting lore-wise, and I will be sad to see it go. Still hoping they redecide.

Since the latest changes here are my personal thoughts on WoD Talent/glyph selections and short reason i chose them:
15
Wild Charge
: I can't tell you how often it has helped my mobility to be able to charge back in as a cat after a knockback (Iron Juggernaught) or having to run out for a moment. (Malkorok)
30
Ysera's Gift
: automatic scaling passive healing that goes to someone else if i don't need it? yes please!
45:
Typhoon
: Knockbacks can be quite useful as interrupts or crowd control (Hellscream)
60
Soul of the Forest
: This might not be the absolute most dps but it is yet another thing i don't have to track so i prefer it.
75
Ursol's Vortex
: Its really good for kiting things that i slap all my bleeds on or just things i want to stay put for a short while longer.
90
Dream of Cenarius
: No more deciding if i need to throw my free HT proc at the tank or myself, always at ToT (the tank) and i still get the perk.
100
Claws of Shirvallah
: New awesome cat form that can cast spells and gets 5% versatility? yes please.
in case you hadn't looked into it 1%
Versatility
grants a 1% increase to your damage, healing, and absorbs, and reduces the damage you take by 0.5%
Glyphs all chosen due to dead dps< live dps.
Glyph of Cat Form
Glyph of the Ninth Life
Glyph of Ferocius Bite
