When we
migrated servers last year, the Profiler had to be rebuilt from scratch because of how there were changes to storing data--even though it looks similar to the old version in many ways, the tool is built quite differently now.
We have been adding
many customized features to the tool since it relaunched, such as old features like exclusion filters to customize your Profiler lists, and new things like tracking your character's quest progress across Wowhead search results and tooltips. You can still find an upgrade if you visit that item's page directly and use the Find Upgrade button at the top of the page, but we have some ideas on how to make that process more streamlined again. Thanks for the feedback.(##RESPBREAK##)2##DELIM##perculia##DELIM##

Also, I love you, but some of the filters are horrible.
For example, just now I searched for an item, a trinket.
I go to Items, Armor, Trinkets, because I know from past experience going any other way may leave things out. I choose "Tank".
I put a max level of 69 to try and cover a wide blanket.
http://www.wowhead.com/items=4.-4?filter=maxrl=69;ro=5Now, after playing this game for 8 years and having every toon maxed out, I know pretty much most items in the game, I simply come here sometimes to refresh my memory.
At cata I had two 80 pallys, at the moment have one 90 and am working on Analiana who is 67.
I KNOW which trinkets are bis right now, and are they listed as tanking trinkets? Man, it is missing so much. Here they are.
Figurine of the ColossusDabiri's EnigmaRegal ProtectorateI really don't want to be an %^&*!@# and I hope I'm not, but this, is unacceptable.
I don't understand how the previous version we were talking about where you hover over the profile and clicked on a little AWESOME NIFTY menu that would pop out saying Find Upgrades would be so VERY accurate in finding the not only the right items, but the right RANGE, missing NOTHING, because again, I would most likely know.
Since I know where you get your data, this isn't that much of an issue, because, I can do searches into the data of which I know to reveal everything I'm looking for, however, others would find this much harder.
Most people who play this aren't nearly as hard core a gamer as myself. There are also people who LOVE to plan out things, and that feature where you could hover over an item and click Find Upgrades (also please add the option, Add to Wishlist) was simply to PERFECT for the light player and the hard core player.
This should be redone, put back in, and a spread page about it blasted for a month!
People care about their toons, people care about finding new gear for their toons, I can NOT stress enough how amazing is this FEATURE!
It's so cool it reminds me of something Blizzard would do, it creates a PERSONAL feel.
Please, bare with me. A person comes to your site, they're new here, they don't know how to get around in WoW to well, haven't met a lot of friends, they feel disempowered because of this and don't really have much direction of where they might go to find better gear.
Who's here to save the day? Pro FI LER! This, if advertised right, WILL BRING CONSISTANT REPEAT USERS TO THIS SITE, SO MUCH SO that I would DROP MOST THINGS You're working on and make this a TOP PRIORITY.
This emPOWERS people who play wow, gives them a HANDLE on things. They go from not knowing where to find new to one second to BAM, not only did I find a new item, I found a TON of items and made this cool wish list that has AUTOMATICALLY SORTED OUT my NEXT course of action! ZAM BAM!
Oh wow, I has cute little personalized guide now to show me JUST where to go next, what to do next! :D YAY! :D
ZAM BAM, and done.
GO FIND UPGRADES! :D
Peace in the middle east.
