Hello everyone=)
after our Friends the Druids got such a new Fancy Travel Form, i wonder if Blizzard plan anything for us Shamans too...did anybody hear anything about a new Wolf Model?

I definitely agree. A new shaman wolf form is needed. I was not impressed with the glyph that put fresh paint on another old model. They could have used the model from the new Siege of Orgrimmar wolf mounts.

They are updating spirit wolf to resemble the Kor'kron wolf model / WoD wild wolves. I don't know how the glyph will affect this. There's also a glyph to update the effect, increasing the bonus speed but making it unable to be activated during combat. (If pulled into combat, the effect does not drop)

How about a unique wolf visual based on your chosen race kinda like the druids get with their animal forms?
Wolf form itself does need an update, and I'd like them to start separating changes made to shaman based on resto or ele from enhancement. The current glyph of ghost wolf prevents your movement speed from dropping below 100% while shifted. This should be a baseline passive for enhancement, while the glyph could provide something like 20% additional movement speed for a total of 50%.
The way I would do the new glyph is that for every second you are running in wolf form, you gain 2% additional movement speed in the form of a buff, up to 50%, and when you exit wolf form, you keep that 20% movement speed buff for a duration equal to the maximum of 15 seconds or however long you were in wolf form.
Example:
Shift to wolf, get 30% movement speed. Run for 12 secs, gain 20% additional speed over the first 10 secs. Shifting out of ghost wolf after 12 secs of running lets you keep a 20% movement speed bonus for 12 sec.

I agree. First of all, I think the lore behind the ghost wolf form needs some work. A draenei turning into a wolf? Not likely... The ghost wolf form as is is a orc thing. Dwarves should turn into a ghost bear or something like that. One of the main reasons that I don't change my ol' orc into a new Wildhammer dwarf (you'll have to admit the new dwarves models are amazing) is that it doesn't make sense lore-wise. And what about turning into an owl for flight form? Or at least give us a little bit extra movement speed. Even glyphed Ghost Wolf form only grants 90% movement speed...
Edit:
Don't even get me started on the ascendance form...

The ghost wolf form as is is a orc thing. The fact that Le'gosh the Wolf Ancient exists on Azeroth says otherwise.

Lo'Gosh, not Le'Gosh. And I don't know if you were supposed to correct me, but Lo'Gosh is also the
orcish
name for the wolf demigod (pun intended). You could've said Goldrinn instead, you know. The trolls, orcs, dwarfs and goblins knows of and acknowledges Goldrinn. That doesn't equal belief. The draenei, the tauren and - in my opinion, most other races are unlikely to turn into a ghost wolf. Personally I think of Durotan and the Frostwolf Clan - which is also where shamanism were founded for the orcish people.

I think it almost looks like a puppy dog running, not a wolf. lol
