"I slipped," hissed Grimdong as he sat down at the long table, eying each of his twelve companions warily, "They know."
High Lady Silanna Rubyheart sipped at her wine delicately, not even bothering to look at the black drakonid, "Disappointing, Grimdong, but not altogether unexpected." The high elf laughed, a beautiful sound, "We are ready, there is nothing they can do to stop us now. Tonight; we leave for our positions. Within a month, the prince will be dead. Go."
The eleven stood, each bowing and saying, "As you command, High Lady."
Grimdong left first, the other ten soon following. They were as follows; a male human, a male orc, a female naga, a male naga, a male night elf, a female blood elf, a female human, a green drakonid, a male dwarf and a tall figure who's gender and race could not be identified.
"I will have my revenge," whispered Silanna, glancing back to the prison behind her. She smiled.

The naga hissed at his surroundings unpleasantly. How could the mortals stand living up here? Sraga coughed, and moved forward. The buzzard circling above him squawked, the four eyes glinting yellow in the hot sun.
Sraga drew his sword, settling into position. He was going to take a long vacation to Vashj'ir after this, very long indeed!

"Huh."
Phillip looked at either side from himself. People were busying themselves about the recently reconstructed Lor'danel, working to maintain the new port and its position as a major supply zone for the continuing war against the encroaching Horde. No one was looking his way, leaving the man to shrug and turn back to the sign.
Screwing up his face and eyes to peer at the faded ink , barely visible in the seeming perpetual dusk of the region, he pressed his finger to the paper and began to read aloud.
"Aaaaadventurrrrr'rs. Need a...job? Need some gold? Well we've got a...ah...job for you. Yeah, yeah...
We have lear...rrrrned, through very releye able sources, that there will be an ass...ass?...oh, wait, that wasn't a mistake. Assassination! Hah, got it. Attempt next month, aimed at the Minor Prophet Maa'ruun of the Dry neye. We assure you thar Maa rooroon is safe, but any information about the assassins themselves will be greatly appreciated.
Reward for relevant information; 1000 Gold.
Reward for capture or heads of assassins, complete with proof; 10,000 gold.
The Argent Crusade.
"Huh," Phillip repeated, leaning back and examining the sign. "So that's what that was about..."
"What say you!"
Phillip shrieked as a grey plated gauntlet tore the flyer from the wall. On instinct for reason had surely deserted him to do so, he whirled about and stared up, up at a large figure, broad of shoulders and chest which strained the dull grey plate armour which he wore. A lightly bearded face with fierce orange hair like his head and thick jaw were aflame stared at the flyer Phillip had reading with an appalled expression.
"What villainy!" he roared in righteous fury. "Planning to strike so cowardly against a messenger, of the most benevolent and glorious Light! Have they no shame!" Phillip cowered at the roar. "Such evil hath no recourse in our realm! Fear thee not, small citizen!" he bellowed, suddenly clapping a hand on Phillip's quivering shoulder. "They shall not succeed! For by my hammer!" The man raised a worn warhammer to the sky, "and by my shield!" came next a battered kite shield. "And by the most glorious Light! I swear no harm shall come to this man upon this shining day! Away! To battle! Bwahahahaha!"
Phillip stood, quaking before the sign as he watched the man ran away across the dock. Suddenly looking around and finding himself the focus of a great many stares, Phillip ducked his head and scurried away to the safety of the darkness.

Minor Prophet Maa'ruun

The Exodar
Maa'ruun sighed angrily as he stepped away from the High Prophet's chambers. Only the Elder One's divinations had detected the assassination; Maa'ruun would die no matter where he went, unless the assassins were found and stopped.
Maa'ruun glared; why on Azeroth would someone want to kill him? What had he ever done to anyone? Twenty draenei soldiers surrounded him, their commander was Lord Captain Gardon. Maa'ruun glanced back at the heavily built officer, "I am not satisfied with my guard, Captain!"
Gardon glanced at his charge, "Sir?"
"I am not satisfied!" The Prophet repeated, "If I am not sufficiently protected, I will be dead within the month!"
The Lord Captain attempted to sooth the young draenei, "Sir, I assure you that a reward for the assassins' capture or death has gone out and my men are the best the Exodar can offer!"
"Bah!" Maa'ruun roared, "It's not enough! I want heroes actively searching for my enemies; I want heroes to protect me!"
Gardon sighed, "If you wish it, Sir," he said, "A trip to Stormwind may be beneficial..."

Two Draenei women watched the young priest as he ranted and raved at the guards. "
Why are we trying to save his life again?
" The taller of the two asked, her eyes glowing a faint blue, and her face partially covered by her dark purple hair. What skin that showed under the full set of jet black plate armour was also a shade of dark purple, though an unhealthy one. On her back was a long two handed blade and strapped to her hips were a pair of short one handed blades.
"Because it's the right thing to do...and we need the money." Her companion answered, smiling at the death knight. The other woman was about a head shorter then first, short gray hair that fell to the bottom of her ears, light red lips and softly glowing white eyes. Like the other draenei, she was also in a set of plate armour, but her's was a dark red with gold highlights and swirls. On her back was a war hammer with a crystalline head. "We do this job, and the Light will shine well on us...and I can send some of the reward to the my sisters."
"
Yeah yeah.
" Doomwhisper muttered as she looked down at the announcement flyer she had torn off the wall of an inn. "
This better be worth it.
" She grumbled as Aelnon laughed, clapping her friend on the shoulder.

A palm slammed down upon the table. With languid speed the captain peered with a lazily half clsoed eyes at the man before him. "...Yeah?"
"Good morrow fair son of Neptulon!" Gunter boomed, which earned him one raised eyebrow. The heavy set man swept a hand towards the moored ship at the corner of the dock. "I require passage upon thine vessel! Lives hang in the balance!"
"...'Kay." Pulling a manifest and an ink pot close, the man dabbed the sharp point of his quill against his tongue and dipped it inside the pot. Holding the quill expectantly above the paper he inquired, "'Nd you are?"
"Gunter Soreson!" Gunter bellowed. "Aspiring Paladin. Of the most holy Light! Defender of the weak! The innocent! And all that which is good! Captain!" Gunter shouted, jabbing a finger at the man before him. "Let your ship be an instrument of justice! To ferry me to protect those who cannot protect themselves! Who would be felled by agents of evil most foul! Lest we prevent it! Lend me thine vessel captain! And this day, let the Light's work be done!"
Without looking up and with a few strokes of the quill the captain wrote down the name. Sprinkling some sand to dry the ink, he rose and rolled up the paper. He glanced at Gunter. "...'Kay."
"Bwahaha!" Gunter laughed from the prow of the ship as they left the port and shot out to sea.

Waves parting before the bow, the ship slowed as the port to the isle came into view. Nudging its way into the docks, mooring lines were cast down to be quickly secured by waiting draenai. Moments later the boarding ramp thumped down onto the docks, seconds later shuddering beneath the heavy steps of Gunter as eh charged off the ship. Finding the Exodar was hardly difficult, the former ship a mass of crystal jutting above the forest and trees like a silver and purple mountain, gleaming in the summer sun.
"An arc from the stars! Ferrying the uncorrupted from their fellows malice! T'is a sight only possible by the beneficent Light!" Gunter cried in awe. He suddenly kneeled upon the dock. "Oh Light! I thank thee for this most glorious of sights! I swear that I shall not fail thee in this most holy of tasks!" Leaping up, he charged towards the path and towards the awaiting ship in the distance.

: Elthalis Azureweaver
Location
: The Exodar
The high elven battlemage 'fresh' out of collegium arcanum, pale from to much time in a library. A face of youth and beuty with eyes blue eyes as the sea, with wisdom and age betraying her young looks. Slim and fit in her form and a light plate of metalic, blue and gold armor to cover it. Broad cloak of blue over her back with a hood puled over the head, black hair leaking out the cowl. And a belt with a sword, of elven origin. Runes of magic on it's silvery blade, golden hilt formed like wings of a phoenix, a shimmering blue gem in it's center.
The high elf teleported herself to the Narru ship used as a city. A papper with the bounty for gold in one of her hands.
Character
: Thelanur Blightblade
Location
: Azuremyst Isle
The dead high elf of the ebon blade and a death knight of the third generation steped out of the boat. The salty breeze flowing thrugh his faded, bleached hair. A saronite gloved hand rubed on his gottage on his chin. A pair of icy blue eyes as cold as death itself gazed on the plank leading to land.
The knight then began a walk down the docks, his skin roten and pale. The plate on his bulkier than average elven form is jet black due to it's saronite origin, but on his chest a tabard of the ebon blade reside. On the back a black rugged cloak fluttering in the wind and a runeblade made for two hands rests with a hunger for mortal blood.
Looking down on the paladin the death knight tilted his head.

"
Isn't he gonna start moving?
" Doomwhisper grumbled as the pair watched the priest. "
Seem smarter to follow him around then take out the assassins when they make their strike.
" She said as she pulled one of her short blades out and set to sharpening it.
"Patience my dear." Aelnon said with a fond grin, as she remained in a relaxed stance, her hands held before her and her eyes closed. "We wait, we follow, we get paid."

"Well then get me a ship!" roared the frightened prophet.
"If you give me ten minutes, sir," said Gardon, "I shall prepare one for you."
Maa'ruun nodded and the Lord Captain quickly left. Maa'ruun rubbed at his temples; this was not going to end well.

Upon entering the Exodar, what one first comes to notice is how smooth everything is. The entire ship seemed to have engaged in a crusade against sharp corner, leaving the purple and blue steel which composed the innards of the vessel rounded and oval, with tall arches and domed ceilings. Gunter stared in open mouthed wonder at the crystals which glittered from the celings and walls, casting everything it touched in the tint of violet. Nowhere was this mroe evident than in the Seat of the Narru, whose tall ceiling and curved walls which cast the song of the Naaru O'ros all around made one feel they had stepped foot in a grand, alien cathedral rather than a bridge to the vessel.
Gunter halted, awestruck at the vision of the chiming entity of crystal and light. The paladin to be pressed a gauntlet to his chest in nameless wonder. "The Light is truly good," he mouthed. His jaw twitched as he was reminded there was a task was set before him. Gunter bowed low. "By this vision of thou, the grandest guardians of the most sacred Light, I swear I shall not fail thee." Rising and with faltering steps he departed the chamber, even when a wall separated him still gazing back to try and see the Naaru.
