Wrongful Ban

Blizzard has terminated this World of Warcraft license after identifying the usage of bots or other cheat software.
After taking a break for a couple months I decided to come back. Pretty much just spent my time gathering thorium/ghost iron/mithril to sell on the AH. I farmed a ton of this ore over the past 2 days and I mean a TON of it. Did a few other things in between this like, going to molten core and getting the other binding I needed which actually dropped (shocking), helping a friend with Razorgore and running stockades for him on an alt, and some Tol Barad. After I finally got bored of farming ore I jumped into some pvp games. 4-5 games later I am kicked from the game and upon logging back in I am banned.
Submitted a appeal ticket, which got me the typical "the action taken against this account will not be reversed." response. I do not feel like my account activity is being properly investigated and apparently the only way to appeal is to reopen the ticket. I can't call support or talk to customer support via online help chat for whatever reason for this issue.
I reopened the ticket and got the same kind of reply, but with the added "you won't get a reply next time" tagged along with it.
I have been accused of something I have not done and its ridiculous. I feel rather helpless in this situation.
tldr; Banned for mining too much ore, Blizzard support isn't doing anything at all.
Is there anything I can do now?
~First Ticket:
I have been on mining the nodes by hand. By my own hand. I truly hope this has been some kind of horrible mistake and my actions thoughout this play session will show you that I was not botting. If there is any information you need from me, please ask..
~Blizzard Response:
Hey there!
Thank you for your follow-up contact regarding the account *****. This account was closed after evidence was produced indicating one or more characters on the account were found to be using an unauthorized cheat program. These programs provide character benefits that are not achievable in the World of Warcraft through normal means. Such benefits include, but are not limited to, character automation (also known as "botting"), increased speed, teleportation, or running through walls/boundaries. These types of programs offer an unfair advantage over other players and supersede the intended limits of the game.
As a result of this determination and the harmful nature of unauthorized programs on the game environment, the action taken against this account will not be reversed. Please understand that we do not reach this decision lightly. This action has been taken in accordance with our Terms of Use (
http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/wow_tou.html
).
In addition, you are responsible for any unauthorized cheat software found to be running in conjunction with World of Warcraft, regardless of the location and ownership of the computer used to log into the service. Please remember to keep your login information confidential. Any account that is registered to your name may not be shared with anyone except for one minor of whom you are a parent or guardian. The security of your account rests with you.
As a reminder, only the Account Administration department can address disputes or questions about this account action. To learn more about how we are able to assist you, please visit us at

.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope we have addressed any concerns you may have had. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance to you.
~My Response:
But I did not use any cheat programs! What the hell is this... I can not believe I am being banned for something I did not do! No one else has had any access to my account either. This is not fair to me at all.
***Nearly 24 hours passes***
Its been nearly 24 hours and I have yet to receive a follow up response. I am not satisfied at all with the previous response and I wish for a proper investigation to take place. There is no reason to terminate my account after I have done nothing wrong. If my acounts actions are properly reviewed this thill become apparent. Thank you very much for looking into this for me. I know you would be just as upset as I am if this was happening to you.
~Blizzard Response:
Greetings,
After a thorough final review of the action taken against this license, we have arrived at the same conclusion. The action will not be reversed or changed under any circumstances. This means that the Wow account: **** will not be unbanned.
We understand that you may still have concerns regarding the action, but we must reiterate that it was taken to address a violation of our policies (
http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/company/legal/
), which everyone must accept before logging into the game.
As this issue has been reviewed by multiple representatives, it is now considered closed. If you have questions regarding a different license or issue, please feel free to contact us again.
All further inquiries regarding this issue will no longer receive a reply.
~New Ticket:
I am still not satisfied with the replies to my ban appeal. I have never used 3rd party software or hacks of any kind. I don't care what your warder program is giving you for information. This is a case of a "false positive" and the actions on my account were with me at the keyboard controlling my character and NOT a program. I had not even been playing the game the months prior to two weeks (ish) ago and I come back to play and get banned for no reason after GATHERING ORE for a time longer than what you deem is capable by a person and therefor MUST be a bot. I have been a loyal customer for years and I feel completely betrayed with the replies I have been given.
~Ticket Response:
Greetings
This penalty has already been upheld.
Regards,
Blizzard Entertainment

Sucks to be you man. Try giving them a call and talking to them. I have found a live person to be about 60% more helpful than some email banter.
That being said...why does everyone come here to make their "QQ I was banned!" threads? This isnt an official forum, or even related to Blizzard...all you are going to get here is a bunch of people telling you to stop lying, stop qqing, and servers you right....with an occasional sympathetic ear.

Shrug, can't post on the official forums with my banned account.
Seen that posting here catches the attention of community managers for blizzard sometimes and can be of help.

Can still call them, which is what is going to get your issue resolved.

As someone who has run a lot of Molten Core and done a LOT of materials farming, and never had an issue, I can say that it must take a tremendous amount to get flagged just for that (if indeed they do that at all anymore). When they say that there is evidence of a hack or cheat program, they don't just mean that you farmed a lot. Part of the TOS/EULA that we agree to is that they are allowed to check your system while you are connected to the game to see if any outside software is accessing the game in unauthorized ways. THAT is what they mean that they have evidence of a 3rd party program- that they monitored the way your computer played the game while you were connected, and detected it. It doesn't mean they guessed because you do a lot of farming.
If you in fact were using a cheat program, and just thought that they couldn't detect what your system was running, then the answer is you were mistaken and you will not get the account back. If you legitimately were not (or don't think you were) running a cheat program, then these are the couple of things that MIGHT still create a positive result:
1) At least one person who was vehemently arguing that they had gotten a false ban came back here later and told us that his bank had contacted him later with information that someone had accessed his financial information as well, and when he did a more thorough investigation of his computer he found a virus that his antivirus software had initially missed. Even if you have an authenticator that kept your account from being stolen, if there is a virus accessing the information, then that will show up as a 3rd party software and can get the account banned. A good virus may get past old or lower quality anti-virus programs. If that is what happened, your wow account should be your last concern because they'll also have access to any credit card numbers or bank account info you accessed on that computer.
2) There are certain programs that are not allowed by the TOS/EULA because they modify game files, that some players don't realize are bannable because they use them for vanity/cosmetic purposes. If you have any programs that change the way you see character models, armor models, mounts, or anything else within the game, those are against the rules and running them is a bannable offense. If that was the issue, you'll likely not get the account back.
3) If you downloaded add-ons from sites other than Curse, it may be that one or more of the add-ons is illegal, and that would illicit such a ban.
4) If you made use of excessive macros for farming purposes, that might look like a 3rd party program, though as they get better at detecting these programs this might no longer be the case.
Excessive farming is extremely unlikely, if not impossible, to trigger a ban for 3rd party software in and of itself, though in truly excessive amounts it might get you flagged for abusing the economy (which is a separate offense, and would have been stated as such). They have access to your system, and when you are manually controlling your character, there are going to be variations in the timing between repetitions of the same actions, times you AFK, times you stop to chat with someone, times you deviate on your travel course, etc. just because you are a human. I have heard of someone who had a pick-pocketing macro get flagged once, but I imagine it's hard to have a macro for mining. In my opinion, the vast majority of people who claim they were banned because they farmed a lot are actually guilty and just don't know that blizzard has as much access to monitor how they run the game as they do, and hope that it sounds plausible enough to get their account back. For the few where this is not the case, the fault almost always lies in them having a virus or having done something unusual that makes significant portions of their activity look automated.
In any case, at this point calling and getting a live person on the phone is going to be your only shot at getting the ban lifted.

Pretty much all of this!
OP, there are thousands of players who spend hours upon hours farming mats, This action does not get you banned if you are doing nothing wrong!
Blizzard have told you they have detected software on your computer, case closed.
The security of your own computer is your responsibility.

This has happened to me as well. I've narrowed it down to a couple possibilities.. tell me if any of them apply to you.
Renaming the 64 bit wow.exe for troubleshooting purposes on my G13 keyboard
Installing ELVui from their own site
