Hi everyone I just watched the Blizzcon 2013 when they started to talk about the new Garrisons and this idea just hit me, having mannequins in your armory or the Inn that you can set up whit any gear and weapon you like to show off to your friends. Giving people more reason to go back and farm that set of armor or that legendary weapon they gave up on farming, so they can make there Garrison the coolest.
Also I heard about people wanting garrisons for there guilds too. If so you could have mannequins in the guild too and I got some ideas to make it work.
High ranking members of the guild could have the option to buy a mannquins for lets say 1000g or The guildmasters could unlock it and grant ONE member per mannquin to gear it whit there fancy epics.
If a player is kicked/leave from the guild all equipment that the member owns on the mannquin is removed and send to the mailbox to the player.
Guildmasters can remove gear but not delete it they can ONLY send it to the owners mailbox for him/her to pick up.

This is actually an interesting idea and I like it. A good way to show unique sets you put together too. The only addon that can do it is Moggit (to an extent) so having this option would be nice.

Love the idea.
There was a mod for Morrowind back in the day which served exactly this purpose - added a vendor to the game who sold mannequins. When the mannequins were used by the player, they spawned a wooden figure in the player's current location, which could then be interacted with as though it were a wardrobe or a chest etc. Any armour added to the mannequin's container then appeared on the body as though it were being worn.
I downloaded that mod, bought loads of mannqueins, and spent hours tracking down every single armour set in the game to display on them. Would be perfect for a game like WoW, where there are countless numbers of armour sets that a player might like - you can't transmog them all!
Fully support the suggestion, and I hope the blues spot it (or have already considered it.)

Love the idea. Had
my own idea for Garrisons
that included that, though it was a bit more individualistic. Personally I like the idea of a guild garrison. Would make you feel like you're actually part of a guild if you all had someplace to go and meet up.

As you have mentioned, you have posted your suggestion on the Official Forums. You should be aware that there is no "guarantee" that a Blizzard employee, aka "Blue" will respond to your post,, however, they do read the posts.
You can also follow the instructions on the
Suggestions to Improve Blizzard Games
as well.
A few tips to help you:
1. Spelling, grammar and punctuation rules are always important to heed, this incudes not using "
Leet
"
2. Using statements such as "Blue Please Read" and other similar statements are generally frowned upon and do not help your cause
3. Avoid the traps of words like "everyone" and "no one", you do not speak for the entire community and it is best to avoid these pitfalls
4. Be sure to select the appropriate forum for your suggestions, General Discussion is best if you cannot choose a more specific forum
5. Petition Posts are frowned upon and generally get deleted or locked shortly after they are created
6. Always be mindful of the
Code of Conduct
Good Luck with your idea!
