Hi guys! I know there are surely thousands of these posts all over the internet but all of those i could find were outdated. The thing is, i want to get better FPS when i'm playing, both dungeons/raids and just roaming around the world gathering stuff. My current FPS goes everywhere between 25 to 68 and i want to make it more stable so i can play a little bit smoother. My PC specs are bellow.
Motherboard:
ASUS ROG Crosshair V Formula-Z
PCU:
AMD FX-8350 8-Core 4,0 Ghz
Memory:
16 GB DDR3 Patriot 1600 mhz
Graphics card:
Sapphire Radeon HD 7970 Ghz edition 3 GB GDDR5
Screen:
Samsung SyncMaster P2450 70k:1 contrast 2ms 75 hz vertical refresh rate
61khz horizontal
If you guys need more info just ask and thank for the help! ^^

I forgot to add that I also want the game to run on Ultra settings if this is possible with high FPS and my rig.

The connection shouldn't affect the framerate.
I agree that his hardware should support the game at maximum settings, depending on what's going on in the game.
Are you running with a default UI? Have you disabled the incoming heal notification for unit frames?

What advanced graphical settings are you using? You may want to turn down anti-aliasing (multisampling) for example, and shadow quality.
Addons could also cause framerate issues.

I do have a bunch of addons that change the UI and looks of everything around but i'm so used to use most of them that i can't imagine to remove them. I'll try to remove some of the addons that aren't that important and try turning down anti-allising and shadow quality. The advanced graphics settings i use are all enabled, DirektX set to DX11, max foreground FPS is at 68 and max background FPS is at max. Is there something of that that i should change? like the max forground/background FPS? I have no idea what they do so in the beginning i cranked them up to max but the i found a vid on youtube where a guy says that the max foreground FPS should be your current fps or something.

i also have a problem with FPS drop. my computer is:
Phenom II x4 955
4 GB RAM
Radeon 6850 with 1 GB RAM
Windows 7 x64
i mostly use mid to high settings but even with very low settings in LFR i can only manage around 2-3 FPS at best. i use Elvui as a replacement UI and Recount, everything else is turned off. all the drivers are upgraded, i tried both DX11 and DX9 mods and the result is the same, so i doubt it's a graphics card problem. also, memory usage is ok, i never go beyond 3 GB of used ram, which leaves the CPU. i have to say, since a lot of players have these issues, that it's purely a case of poor programming, especially when you consider the difference in FPS between AMD and Intel. also, if we all have multi-core CPU-s, why doesn't WoW actually use that to its own advantage?
anyone has any idea how to boost FPS in LFR on this system? CPU change is out of the question, at least for the time being.

turning off all addons and putting all graphics down to min may help a bit --however 2 -3 with that system is really the best you can expect .
my system is
AMD8320 8 core 3.50 ghz
12mb of ram
hd7860 2GB graphics
windows 7 /64bit
I get as low as 20 fps in LFR at times

Are you running the 32bit client or the 64 bit? You have 16Gb ram so I assume you are running a Win 64 bit version, browse the WoW directory and launch wow64.exe and see if that make a difference.
