I am in need of some loose ends tied up in my head about Theramore, i will post what information i have read of wowwiki and may someone fill in the blanks for me please :)
It is revealed in the novel Tides of War, that the city is destroyed by a manabomb created by the blood elves using the Focusing Iris and dropped from a goblin zepplin.
So the city is gone, i know that for sure...
The blast kills most of the Alliance defenders, including Rhonin, the 7th Legion, and many of it's commanders. Jaina's gnome apprentice, Kinndy, is also killed in the blast.
Are the alliance defender's Theramore's army/navy?
Otherwise those listed above are the 'Confirmed' Dead...
The only known survivors are Vereesa Windrunner, Shandris Feathermoon, Jaina Proudmoore, and Kalecgos of the Blue Dragonflight
So what of the citizen's?
Kinndy is a female gnome and one of Jaina Proudmoore's apprentices introduced in the novel, Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War by Christie Golden. She dies during the battle of Theramore when the mana bomb, thrown from an goblin aircraft on command of Garrosh Hellscream, hits Theramore; killing every living creature in the city.
Not every...
I did not read the novel, but my partner informed me that rhonin used his power to slow the mana bom, allowing the citizens and other's with jaina to escape Theramore, is this true? why then does it say on wowwiki that most/all are dead? Did rhonin just get a heroes story or did he do what i said earlier?

From what I recall, the regular citizens were evacuated. I don't think they stated where to.

Likely stormwind or other parts of the EK.

So then why does/is Jaina going berserk? her role when leaving Lordaeron was to save it's people, those people have yet again been saved...
What are your thoughts now on what will happen to Theramore Isle? Does it have some kind of radiation to the land? Will the people rebuild somewhere else?
Likely stormwind or other parts of the EK.
What makes you think they would join Stormwind?

What makes you think they would join Stormwind?
Because Theramore acted as the staging ground for the human invasion into the Barrens - that's what that *huge* bridge is for. Somebody built that bridge - most likely the citizenship of Theramore. Also they are mostly humans, who else would they join?
So then why does/is Jaina going berserk?
Because Blizzard's writers can't create a single decent female protagonist - we had that discussion some time ago in General in 'Are the Horde Sexist' - they *all* either go/are nuts or act as appendage to a male.
Lady Proudmoore has absolutely no justification to 'go beserk'. Your city is bound to become a battlefield when you side with the enemy of your immediate neighbour and allow his forces to actually plot their
invasion
right through your territory. Any losses in the Theramore bombing are on her conscience as well as Garrosh's (well, if he had one, that is). Maybe it's that knowledge that drives her crazy - that she is responsible for the death of her city...

Jaina went berserk because she saw the kingdom she had been working on for the last 7 years utterly annihilated, saw the dead bodies of the defenders torn apart/shredded/destroyed by the corrupted energies, and her apprentice was killed because Jaina suggested that she do as she wished, and the gnome girl stayed in the city...and then watched as her body slowly fell apart like a sand sculpture.
As for the people: Most of the survivors fled to Stormwind and other Alliance cities.

And the innkeeper is in Ogrimmar...
Chained to a post....
And is dead.

Why do they need to join anyone? They didnt join an already existing Theramore, they built it from the ground up. There is plenty of places they could rebuild and stay under the watchful eye of garrosh, let stormwind pick up the slack as it's their war.

So then why does/is Jaina going berserk?
Because Blizzard's writing when it comes to the Red vs. Blue war is about as subtle as a Gorehowl to the junk. (And also the female protagonist thing already mentioned. a.k.a. the "Hush, Tyrande" Rule.)
