Hello fellow WoW players, long time off and on player here.
I'm going to jump back into WoW's newest expansion MoP with high expectations. There's just one snag I've run into... what class to play? I've narrowed it down to clothies, needless to say I cannot decide which to choose. I should also mention that I am going to be transferring my only true character to a different server, so it will be just this guy and a level 88 Resto druid. This does play into my decision because I am not looking for a healer at all... so the Priest isn't looking as good as the other two choices, but you never know. Also I would prefer this to be a PvP character as well, it will hopefully be Arenas specific. I'm not saying I won't do any other BG's with him just he will be focused on the Arena aspect of WoW. At any rate I am just looking at the upsides to each class compared to the other two.(##RESPBREAK##)2060##DELIM##Sas148##DELIM##Welcome to the Wowhead forums! Please take a moment to review our . I've deleted two of your recent threads as they were duplicates of this one. In addition, I moved this to WoW General as it wasn't specific enough to be in a class forum. Thank you for your time and enjoy your time here!

Well, I play both a Warlock and a Priest whereas I have to manage to level a mage past level 30, so - just my opinion here ;).
Warlock has the greatest utility of the three currently: portals, SP/STA buff, combat rez, emergency off-tank. It's also - but this is entirely subjective - the class with which you can 'do' the most stuff: you get three specs with distinctly different playstyles. They will lose some mobility in 5.4, though, so if your emphasis is on PvP, you might prefer a mage. I just dont like all that jumping around cr*p a mage's got to do.
Shadow priest feels way OP whilst levelling, just like Disc in healing. I outnuked mages in full heirloom gear with my quest greens on a regular basis and I am everything but a 'pro gamer' *snickers*. The one advantage this class has over the others that you get +hit from Spirit, so reaching the cap there is much less of a hassle - but of course thats not really relevant for PvP.
I enjoy playing the priest more than the warlock because its 'rotation' feels natural to me, with a warlock you actually have to know the details to really get the most out of it, and some stuff Blizzard introduces at the higher levels for Demo and Destro feels counter-intuitive to me (SB/SS, the second iteration of Backdraft).
