In order for people to help you, you will probably have to be more specific. People will need to know your class and spec, whether or not you have PvP gear, what type of PvP you're attempting to do and what the specific issues you are having are.

I have played WOW since it began off and on never more than a month at a time. Now I have gotten more into the game and tried to really get the full value out of the immense amount of the game. I am getting the professions etc all down but am really struggling in PVP and the hard part is even the explanations do not make to much since when I ask for help from fellow players. Most of my friends are selfish and do not want to dedicate the time to help me because they are scared I will get better then them at it! Silly I know, but I really am seeking some help form fellow WOW gamers to just please help to explain the in's and out's of PVP due to the fact that I am struggling quite a bit in it. I would appreciate it very much!
It is way to hard to do a complete "when they do this you do this" kinda guide for any spec of any class so here is the best advice any of us can give you :
Do as many duels as possible.Hang around the gate of Orgrimmar or Goldshire/Stormwind 24/7.Queue for random battlegrounds and take each blow on your chin, keep pressing that ress button after each death.
You will improve over time but only if keep trying.
People will notice you doing alot of duels trying to get better and they will give advice and try to help you because of that. Also people will notice when you get better a couple of weeks after your first dueled them and give some pointers how to improve even further. Before you know it people will invite or ask you for 2vs2's in Arena. ;)

I have to agree with Niscionetizen. PVP isnt just a straight forward "if they do this, then you do this". It takes a lot of practice to get good at it and learn to think outside of the box. Over time you will learn how to counter other classes, but it won't happen overnight.
And @Jkpman, no need to take a pot shot insult at people who are coming to ask for legitimate help.
