So what happened to you
or
did you see happen to someone else that had you in tears? Is there a quest that made you burst out in unexpected laughter? Did the game's mechanics suddenly do something it wasn't meant to. And we all know of the bored genius' out there in Azeroth who live to brighten our day with some stunt we never thought we'd see...
Leeroy
, you are in a class of your own.
We all love a good laugh so let's hear it...
My vanilla anecdote may sound familiar; the boat that once went from Menethil Harbor to Darkshore was loaded with peak hour players...a couple dozen at least. As the coastline receded to a speck the "zone" transfer wasn't happening. The next instant the boat vanished and we went into the drink. the Fatigue Race for shore began.
Druids morphed into aquatic form, shaman cast water walking, alchemists and a lucky few had their
elixirs
. The rest of us, well, we started swimming toward that mysterious fatigue line. We all kinda realized that it wasn't gonna happen, so in good-nature we yelled curses at those who left us behind. That was when I remembered my hearthstone and with a few seconds of life left found myself in Ironforge.
The Disappearing Boat Trick was unheard of back when that happened to us (in the months to come nobody in their right mind would board w/o a cool hearth or what have ya) and I'm still friends with a handful of those folks. They all tell me my last second escape gave them a lot of joy and some of them laughed when they later realized their hearthstones were ready when time ran out.

The funniest moment I've had ... Hard one, but traveling as a lvl 12 out to Azuremyst Isle(from Eversong) because as a hunter I've heard there's a nice grey dog to tame out there, was quite amusing. Well, not very when I found out I can't tame it 'til 69 anyway, but once I got past the rage it was funny.
Another thing was when my group for LK, 10 HC and we were five, managed to push him so hard that he never respawned the outer ring before starting to channel Remorseless winter the second time.

Right before WOTLK launched, I got disconnected when a boat tried to switch zones, and when I logged back in I was standing on the boat, which was suspended midair somewhere in Northern Eastern Kingdoms- I think it might have been around the Hillsbrad Foothills. There were like 5 of us there, so it seems that the boat DC'd us when it glitched. I had no hearth up, so I had to jump to my death to get off the boat. That was pretty funny.

I think my favorite moment in WoW is also the one that stands out as the funniest.
It was during WotLK, and I was doing arenas on my pally with my mage friend. We never really expected to win, but mages have always been OP in arenas. So we get matched up against a priest/hunter, and before we can kill either, he dies. So I sit there waiting to die, when I say in vent "This hunter is pissing me off". I heal myself, and pop my cooldowns, and manage to kill him somehow, I was in such shock I didn't even think to worry about the priest. My buddy is laughing and cheering me on in vent as I slowly kill the priest (which took longer than it a normal match).
I'll never forget how awesome I felt at that moment.

One of my favorite moments happened maybe a half-hour ago.
I was doing Pinnacle of Storms in the Raid Finder. My group gets to the Twin Consorts, and I Leeroy it. No ready check, no asking if anyone knows the fight mechanics, just "BLOOOOD JEEEENKIIIIIIINS!" and we start fighting. For the record, my character was displaying my "Jenkins" title when I did this.
That was when I learned that about half of the raid group was trapped outside the room, watching the rest of us.
But that didn't matter for those of us who found ourselves fighting the Consorts. Both tanks and a decent number of healers were present, so we just went through with it. We killed the yellow one and got the blue one down to like five or ten percent health when she went Berserk. One guy was like "oh crap, Berserk, time to wipe", but we figured hey, she's almost dead, let's just keep beating her down.
AND WE WON. One raid member immediately said "f*** your wipe"; another was shocked, saying "a raid that just leeroyed consorts and won..."
Yeah.

One that comes to mind is back in vanilla when I was playing my warrior. I was in that cave by Hammerfall and was in a part of the cave that was raised, where you could see down to a lower part of the cave. I targeted an enemy down on the lower level and hit charge-- and my warrior zoomed through the entire spiral of the cave, taking the long way down and charging the whole way. Guess they fixed that since then.
There are many just sort of fun experiences I had. I remember raiding the Exodar back in TBC, it's kind of lame because no one ever goes to the Exodar, but my group was so lively and into it we had an awesome time. Then we raided the various other villages nearby and players just kept falling for my friend's snake trap. It was just a lot of fun.

One of the more funnier wow experience i had gotta be then i was in gruul lair with my guild. We was preparing just before the gruul door to the boss. Then one of our mages accidently hit blink and aggro the boss. The door closes and a horrible silence emerges only to be broken with someone shouting run in Team Speak. We all started running like madman and gruul emerges from the closed door and chases everyone and one shooting most people. The druid sprints cat, rogues just sprints, mages blinks and hunter sacriface their pet with me imagine the pet thinking aloud "bloody basterd" and FD to let someone else take the bullet. I as paladin tank almost made it to the door.
We all decided to blame the bloody gnome mage and sacriface him for good luck!
Another funny story is then a gnome warlock at lvl 60 suddenly shouts in terror in g chat(vanilla era). We all wonder why she was scared. She replies: "A rat from deeprun tram resisted my shadowbolt." Made me laugh some:)

Just the other day,I was in the queue for lfr.The queue popped while I was on a kite to halfhill,I accepted but the next second i was back in the inn in stowmwind still on my kite,It wouldn't let me teleport to the raid as they was in combat. It just so happened they was already fighting the last boss,so i sat in the inn, unable to dismount my kite and waited for the raid to kill the boss, the best part was i still got my 90vp for doing nothing at all.Had to log in the end,to get of that damm kite.
