Hey there,
I am currently on a quest to try and nab myself a soloing class that can excel at hunting rares without having to deal with getting too many people to help for example the war bringers and some of the rares in Thunder Isle. I was wondering what advice you fine folk can give me in considering one. I was wondering if I should go DK or make a pally/hunter? Some folks suggested pally before but I wanted to know what you guys would say. Thank you in advance!

Any tank or pet class can do it.

The pet classes will always be the king of soloing rares (Locks and Huntards).
But with that said, I have solo'ed countless numbers of rares on my DK, but now that I have ilvl of 485+ it is simple.

Wrong. Locks and hunters have a very difficult time soloing warbringers now because of the changes causing them to no longer be able to be cc'd/slowed/interupted. Meanwhile I can still solo them just fine on my druid and dk.

You dont need to cc them, you just tank with your pet while healing it, doh.
