Is there a way to only have an action bar visible while shift is held?
I want to make a mounts/proffesions bar and make it only visible when i hold a specific key doesn't have to be shift Any key really. any help would be appreciated. even to the point of letting me know it can't be done

Most of the action bar addons (if you're willing to make the jump to one) like Dominos or Bartender allow you to do this.

As far as Button Forge goes (I know this is an old question) input visibility macro show; hide will show a bar on shift=pushed.
To have that shown bar replace another, make the replaced bar(s) visibility macro hide; show , overlap them if you want one to visibly replace the other and you're golden.
edit: buttonforge doesn't like shift as a modifier but ctrl works as expected.

Trying to make a bar come up when I'm fishing. So for the Visibility macro command box, I tried:
show; hide
Even if I reversed it, it's hidden! Like this:
hide; show
But none of that did work, keeps hiding it no matter what. I also tried re-equipping to see if it detected it. But it doesn't.. Any tip?
Edit: Made it work by using:
show;hide
