Things that annoy you about other peeps in game.
Thread inspired by a friend of mine who wants embersilk cloth to lvl tailoring.
I've been waiting for him to turn up outside Ulduum instance now for 45 minutes. He's an 87 priest (with 3.3k MP?). After the first 20 mins of no response he said his game froze. He was in Jade Forest. Ok... peeps are having issues with the 5.2 patch.. but 20 mins says its time to kill WoW and restart.
He then shows up in Dala. Then Storm Peaks (I know hes camping TLPD but not while I'm getting him cloth!). After 10 mins of him in SP I ask him where he's at. I know the answer, my addons and Flist show me. I'm tracking him on TLPD's flight path. I don't know of a bug that sucks you from Jade Forest to Dalaran to Storm Peaks.
"Im stuck on a flight path and my game froze again."
Me: "Oh ok."
He finally gets to SW to port to Ulduum. Then... he doesn't even have the Ulduum portal...
All most of us want is a little honesty peeps. Really! Loot mode set to master loot, and I'm waiting outside on TLPD just to annoy him now.
Anyone else out there having to deal with this infant school level of BS?

Doesn't sound like much of a friend imo.
My thoughts after the first couple paragraphs :P

I'd have given him 10 minutes tops. My tolerance for BS is low and getting lower by the year.

I killed him 5 times.
I don't think he wants me to help him again. Best 44 gold repair bill i ever spent.

Well technically you and your guild mate received a random heroic as you had no idea which one he would be picking, but it does suck.

Well, this is one reason why I don't offer to do things like that unless I've got a lot of time to waste. At one point I was running AQ for the pets, when a lower level guildie (like 67) wanted to hop in my raid (my lvl 90 friend was going with me as well for the twin fight). It took my guildie 30 min to even begin coming toward me. Eventually my lvl 90 friend showed up and we had to just summon him outright.
I've had a few people go afk for tiny bits of time (10-15 min), at which point I just log on my banker toons and try to work the AH. That or I read, or draw, or write something. Not much else you can do if you offered to help.
One easy way to solve the problem is to tell them that you have something else to do. I know its hard saying no to your friends or a guildie, but you can't let it guilt you into doing things you don't want to or don't have time to.
I have had a problem recently with raiding. I told my newly raid/ chatty guild that I would tank for them on Tuesday night, Feb 19th. I remember this date well because they kept asking me about it for months. I even bring my husband in to help out with the new raid team. And then at like 1:00 AM they say in chat "Ok, so lets set the next raid for Thursday."All of a sudden I've become committed to another Thursday run (my regular guild assembles only on Thursday nights) without even having discussed it once before. I just had to tell them I had something else to do at that time slot, but if they wanted me before or after, they could whisper me.
Similarly, I've had to set time limits on an old friend from BC. She is leveling like 20 characters at once, and a lot of them are still in cataclysm/ northrend. So for like two weeks straight she would interrupt my 90 grind by asking really politely and pitifully if I would help her do ring of blood and help out with a few hard quests. Normally I would just say yes and go with it, but I had to stop my own leveling in pandera, go to pawdon, go to sw, then take a port to cataclysm or a ship to northrend. It got old after like 3 runs. So I just had to set limits on it. I told her I could only put 20 min tops into it or that I only could run one a day. It worked, she wasn't upset, and she respected the fact that I had other stuff to do.

Every now and then when we actually have some guild members online someone will quite often try to get a dungeon group going.I'm always up for it,so i'll stop what i'm doing and get in the group.Normally takes about 10 minutes or so to get everyone finishing what their on then we're of.Then within about 10 minutes someone has to bail for some reason or other, then someone elde has to go and feed their cat.Why the hell do people join groups when they don't even have time to finish one run let alone multple runs.Just one of the little things that puts my blood presure up a few more points each day

Lol, or when TANKS first zone into a dungeon, and immediately they're like "brb need a drink"
.... really?
For Tanks this really confuses me. They get instant ques, so take care of that crap before you que up. I understand it for healers and DPS as we have to wait fro the LFG pop ups.
