Bartender macro issue?

Im trying to make a strangulate macro so that if I hold shift, it targets my focus instead of my normal target. this is what I have as my macro:
#showtooltip Strangulate
/cast Strangulate; Strangulate
My issue is this: I have Strangulate bound to G. I have Chains of Ice bound to F, and nothing else bound to either key via Bartender, which I verified by wiping those 2 skills keybinds and resetting them to their respective keys. Regular Strang and CoI work fine, but if I hit Shift+G, it uses my CoI and I can't figure out why. any thoughts on how to fix this?
I also checked my regular blizzard keybindings list: shift+g was bound to something but i removed it and no change.

That's very strange indeed. I'm inclined to say you've probably missed something along the way. This shouldn't happen, so it's almost definitely an issue with your setup. Look into options relating to paging, states and other oddities. Triple-check to make sure shift-G isn't bound to anything.
Your macro itself could use a cleanup:
#showtooltip
/cast
#showtooltip
automatically chooses the first valid ability based on conditionals, so you don't need to provide it with the spell in question. Multiple brackets can be provided for a single spell, so you don't have to specify Strangulate redundantly. (Empty brackets refer to default behavior. In other words, cast on your target with no special behavior.)
