I think i have found you?
Rhodis
The Forsaken Legion
76 Human Marksmanship Hunter,
Zangarmarsh
I would change to BM spec at low levels. At level 76 you should be able to get
Spirit Beast
pets, these two amazing pets:
Loque'nahak
-
Arcturis
. Perhaps hard to find, but well worth the wait.
"If ya happy with MM, then keep playing this spec, is my advice. But if you haven't tried another spec, give BM a try".
Next problem, you don't have any Glyph's showing on your armory.. perhaps getting some Glyph's will increase your performance.
Drop
Wyvern Sting
for
. This ability will help more in Battle grounds. "well it does for me"
I would also take
Iron Hawk
for leveling / random battle grounds, since
increase
"typo" ..meant to be "decrease" in damage taken is well worth it over a long cooldown like
Exhilaration
.. waiting 2minutes in random battle ground, for this cooldown is kinda a waste, lots of things can happen in 2minutes. This ability is better used in Arena.
Perhaps this information isn't very detailed, but hopefully this might help a little. If you get stuck, then just check the "Guides" section. Lots of information about leveling & specs, can be found.
Nooska - has some nice Guides.

Iron hawk doesnt increase your damage - it has exact same AP modifier (15% atm - tooltip didint update) as
, the only difference is the 15% reduced damage (its like additional resi). All those talents are survival oriented. Spirit bond offers small healing for you and your pet (and is really good for leveling as your pet tends to be pretty squishy without it). The 2 min cd heal is good for short fights, like 1v1 or 1vs many.
Also spirit beasts arent the best pet. Sporebats are.

Twizelbang
Sporebats are rubbish for BM hunters in Battle grounds.. Core Hound if you want a similar buff.
I would also keep with Aspect of the Iron Hawk & Spirit Beasts you can't get better pets for Battle Grounds, leveling. Self healing & Mastery buff....
I was meant to put
"decrease"
in damage taken is well worth it over a long cooldown like Exhilaration. silly typo ' thanks for spotting it out. Will edit it.
Post by

that the Sporebats gives, still doesn't even compare to the mastery buff that your Spirit beast gives. Also
Spirit Mend
is still rather strong. Lack of healing in random Battle grounds, having
Spirit Mend
will easy keep you alive. Well it does for me.
Kill Command destroys most things in random battle grounds, leveling, the fact mastery buff from spirit beasts will increase its damage of all abilities... what more can i say... They hit like trucks. Meaning you can go afk while leveling most of the time, & your pet will heal itself.... Sporebats no thanks for me.

"sigh"
..not sure how many
"typo's"
i have made on this topic.. think it would be better if i deleted my posts & started again. Think i need more coffee, to pay attention.hehe

It was a joke. It seems you dont know
the video
.

Actually best gain you get from 5% crit, than mastery, than the debuffs (sunder armor and 4% physical).
Best pet would be the one with the buff/debuff your battleground group doesnt provide atm.

Nooska
And for random battlegrounds where your team isn't necessarily around, take the 5% crit buff.
Edit: some words got swallowed when I posted this originally, aparently.

Ops.. sorry Zakkhar, never seen the video. was rather funny :) .hehe
I love my
King Krush
.. but since you can notice it a mile away, it tends to die rather fast, seems everyone likes to kill a dino.hehe ...I prefer people to not notice me about, but then again i can hide behind a pebble being a little goblin.
AT low levels you can only get
Devilsaur
or
Wolves
for the
5% crit buff
. ( person in question is level 76). I have neverbeen to keen playing BM without a Exotic pet. So it would only leave me with a Devilsaur
"Giant monster"
.. They do give a amazing debuff
Monstrous Bite
.
Zakkhar & Nooska give good / sound advice, so crit buff would be cool. Well worth having. Sometimes higher dps is needed,
but dead dps is no dps at all.
(worth thinking about)
So .....With how Battle Grounds tend to be at low levels, most of the time, you hardly ever get any heals. Perhaps i'm unlucky in this aspect. So the healing ability from spirit beasts, this just ticks the right box for me. Pocket healer is great to have, since the cooldown is so short. So i wouldn't rule it out. Even if 5% crit buff will work out better for damage.
"but still for me. Spirit beasts.. Stubborn me.. pocket healer gets my vote".

Actually there is one more pet (actually two but the other isnt tamable before lvl 90) that provides crit buff, not as ordinary as wolf and not as obvious as dino.
http://www.wow-petopia.com/family/waterstrider.html
The spell power buff does nothing for hunters, but the water walk works on battlegrounds.
For checking which buff is provided by what class/pet i am using
this site
. For checking pet models, levels and locations the above one.
As for spirit beasts and their healing, someone may find this macro useful:
#showtooltip spirit mend
/petfollow
/use call pet 1
/use spirit mend
/use spirit mend
/use mend pet
What it does is heal pet and player without mod, with shift pressed it will cast both HoTs on pet. If the pet has despawned (out of range) it will call it first. Obviously my spirit beast is on number one slot. It will also call pet to your side to ensure you are within the range/prevent further damage to the pet. Pet should attack back as soon as player attacks something (as its still on assist), but it sometimes glitches and have to tell him to do it (or use another macro).
Yes, i know it could have been written in one less line.

Yeah, i knew about the other pets.. i have some of them.
Waterstrider
... you need level 85
(Yeah, i got lucky with the rare Waterstrider
Glimmer
, only took me about 15minutes to track it)
Fen Strider
... is another option, for low level BM hunters, instead of Devilsaur.. i keep forgetting about these.. but they stand out... like a disco ball... hehe
(I try to track the rare "Hexapos", no luck yet.. kinda gave up on that)
Quilen
... you need level 86, these are good.. i have 2x Portent ( Cobalt & Amethyst )
Post by
Zakkhar
That Hexapos should stand out even more.
I always did battlegrounds with my beloved
chimera
. (it stands out even more)
Oh the Wotlk joy of perma dash pet with perma 30 yard range slow. I have been a king of killing people on Field of Strife (while they are still on their mounts and think they got a chance).
Its been slightly nerfed since than but still is hell of a reliable (and passive) tool to catching up with people or kiting melees.

Hexapos, because i love to hunt rare pets. I have found every other rare tame in the game.
I have
Nuramoc
, since i was high enough level to tame it... love that pet.
I have tried to use Nuramoc in PVP.. sadly, it dies in seconds, everytime.
Kinda goes like this i think:
"quick.. kill the huge pink thing"
...splat
(Er... is it purple!.. purple / pink.. hehe.. i haven't fiqured it out yet)

Have you tried speccing it cunning?
Post by
Twizelbang
Yeah, i have spec'd it cunning a couple of times, just as soon as people notice the pet. Most tend to target it. Draws so much attention in a random battle ground.
I tried the pet in RBG once (Cata), the AoE effect on the Flag area worked rather well, but damage out-put wasn't as good as my worm. Also near impossible to see my worm /
Disembodied Jormungar
... kinda came in handy, was one from Stormpeaks.. Sons of Hodir quest...
Feeding Arngrim
"Large stealthed rogue worm"..
Even with name plates up... i would sometimes, think... "
where is my pet
", when it was next to me.. haha
Post by
Zakkhar
I got the exact worm too.
I started getting the "dude, where is my cat" after taming Ghost saber. On alterac valley snow while prowling. Its just not there. Completely transparent.
I am yet to experience people trying to kill my pet in bgs, arena thats another story.
