Consecutive visits glitch
Return to board index

For the past few hours, wowhead seems pretty slow for me, with minute-long loading time.
Every night, I log in on wowhead, check my visits counter, and reload "the next day" (a few hours later -- without logging out), to see the number grow bigger.
"Today", the counter has reset. I'm sure I was logged in, and that I gained a visit yesterday.
Furthermore, the reputation tab in the bottom of the user page show "Invalid date" for ALL reputation gains. Daily visit +5 (n/a) ago
Maybe i forgot yesterday ? But I can't be sure, because the date are not shown :/
Any feedback on loading speed or visits counter would be appreciated.
Sorry for broken english :|

I just noticed the same thing with my consecutive visits! I had just logged in about 5 minutes ago to see that my counter for the consecutive visits has been reset as well.
I'm guessing this is a bug since my reputation tab shows that I received 5pts a few hours ago for logging in.
Hopefully this gets fixed soon, and everyone's consecutive visits counter is restored!

Hey guys,
I'll flag the Dev's about this. A reset like this has happened in the past and we were able to recover. I'll just ask for everyone's patience right now. It probably just has something to do with Day Light Savings time being today, and the roll over system did something weird.
Thanks for the post. Keep logging in as normal until we get the counts restored.
Cheers

Mine also reset today, I was at around 336ish as well.
Going to be pretty disappointed if I lose that :(

Mine also reset (though I assume a fix will be systemwide, like in the past).

Oh thank god. I'm currently supposed to be at 362 and when it went back to 1 I nearly had a heart attack.

this is definitely a glitch, as I have also reset to one, but my personal reputation pane shows one from 29 seconds ago, then the next one at Yesterday at 6:56 AM. ... strange glitch indeed.

636 here... I may need an intervention at some point.

I'm another one that had the reset glitch. (Just in case it is specific people and not a systemic problem.)

I got up over 600 and required dragging away from the internet for a whiskey-fueled holiday in a cottage by the sea.

Okay, so this will be automatically fixed tomorrow when the day switches over. If you aren't fixed at that point, please wait until 12:01AM PDT to post here and we can manually fix it. PoeticDragon has edited it so hopefully this won't happen again in DSTs. :)

Yep, me too. I didn't notice the automatic logout. I didn't want to start over after the second one... so when I saw the "1" right now I almost punched my screen.
