The answer to this, and any question about the models introduced in Vanilla is simply: Soon TM.

Honestly? Male Night Elf, Male Draenei, Male Pandaren and Female Worgen are really the only models that bug me...

After taking a break from WoW to play City of Heroes for a year, it's hard having to look at WoW's human models again. Seriously, CoH is as old as WoW, and has better models.

I'm too vain to level a pandaren.
I have to ask what vanity has to do with a Pandaren.

i heard also they were updating the human, dwarf, orc(though i think orcs look cool right now probably just need to update faces and skin tone) i think they should just have an expansion were they just update everything. have kil'jaiden as a cool boss. update raids, dungeons, bg's ,arenas, rbg's, races, classes, etc. becouse honestly just by doing that would probably make WoW 3x better.

Honestly - because they are fat and I don't want to play a fat toon. Putting a zen aspect to a fat toon doesn't make it for me.
If there's rumor of improvement for the models, I then have hope for the future of wow. If I had to choose between the models OR chucking the new race starter zones I'd have to go with the latter. IMHO.
Thanks for responding to this thread!
Well...that's better for my reason to never play a male Pandaren lol; I hate Shuffling/LMAFO, so I'll never be one of them. The females are still alright though.

I agree MisterRik - I played Rift, Skrim and an afternoon with Guid Wars 2. Rift was fun but I never unstood the gameplay mechanics and prof leveling. That was about a year ago so maybe some of that's been updated.
Atik - I only play female toons, and the worgen was the worst and I'm too vain to level a pandaren.
Heh. I have 93 characters in City of Heroes, almost all female. Here's three of them:

Their "backstory" is that they're triplets, from Argentina. Their names, from left to right, are Colores Secundarios, Colores Primarios, and Colores Neutrales. (Neutrales' costume is actually black and white, but the lighting in the zone made the spots on her costume look pinkish.)
(No, CoH doesn't let you log in multiple toons on one account. That screenshot required 3 accounts, running two instances of CoH on my Windows laptop and one instance on my Mac. And I had to get the shot quickly before both of the instances on the laptop crashed.
And one of my personal Super Groups (CoH's version of guilds), Solar Angels:

Blizzard had originally planned to update the models with Pandaria, but they weren't able to finish them before the expansion. I remember reading somewhere that they would add the new models in a patch if they weren't with the expansion. So yes, we can expect the new models: Soon™.

The male pandarens are fat and unlikable.
But the female Pandarens are pretty sexy...

You know, apparently in Pandaren culture, being fat is actually good.
Probably has to do with how much their culture revolves around a profession of the culinary nature.

Having something besides ripped models is a nice change. It'd be nice to be able to make the other models chubbier or fit as well, IMO.

I know, right? Who needs a musclebound mage?

I've spent the last few years wanting model changes, or a possible improvement so i could alter more physical aspects of my character. I enjoy realism, i'd have loved for to have my undead warrior a bit fatter, i mean its crazy with biology but i'd imagine with all of the other games it'd not be hard.
I've been looking at other games and nowadays i'm wondering what i'm paying for if not the ability to communicate with a bunch of mates and the fact its a habbit. I mean the graphics are a bigger pain now because i've saw free to play games like guild wars with better graphics on characters .
That and the ability to chose your cast animation could be cool.

Personally, graphics are number four for me on the 5 reasons to play a game. Story is always number one, gameplay is number two and number three is usually the 'time sink' factor of it(IE how much time will I 'waste' playing the game); as it stands, sure a lot of the graphics in WoW haven't changed that much in 8 years(Mists is the first time it's ever been this much of an over haul) but that's the way Blizzard seems to want it: So that WoW can be played on the low end machines and not need people to upgrade their computer every couple of years to keep pace.
But really, as long as the meat and butter of the game can keep me interested, I don't really care that much in regards to how the characters look....though, that doesn't mean I don't want more character options as much as the next guy.

Asfar as warcraft goes, to me the only interest is the gameplay and mechanics, followed by graphics.
I mean i've played since midway through TBC and graphically i've saw a few changes to faces and attack animations but no alterations to overall models, undead still look aweful with specific boots which look like socks with cut out chunks of pixels as far as i see.
As for Wow being played on low end machines, guild wars 2 is quite similar along with Final fantasy online, while they're respectively a young game and a very tedious game, they have the same system requirements and yet dish out superior graphics.
I mean storylines great if you care for storyline, but since wrath i've not been able to get into any of it, Cata was OMG world ending and Pandaria is blizzard creating a conflict between H and A, which is somewhat predictable. They put the dictator Garrosh in power and then we know he's getting killed off.
And asfar as character personalisation, we only get a few bits of aesthetics , i mean i'd settle for a bit of lee weigh on how my character looks in terms of muscle /weight and a choice on cast animations.
