I love Grid too. Either that or Healbot should be an addon used by every healer out there (or any other less known addon that shows your raid health bars in a smart manner - unlike the Blizzard's default UI)
On the other hand I just can't heal with a mouseover macro or with Clique. I must have a target to heal or I'll be stopped by an invisible psychological wall.

I use X-pearl for healing, i like it because it keeps track of how many HOTs are on a person, and if i have my HOT on the person. It shows who has aggro, who has prayer on mending, and who has a debuff on them. You can also set it to healer mode, which can show how much health the target is missing so you know when to use a big heal. It is what i have always used and i still love it.

You pretty much need to improve on Blizzard's raid frames with something.
Click set-up addons like Healbot or Clique are optional based on what you prefer. I relied on healbot completely on my old paladin but I don't use either on my new druid, just Grid without Clique and all my healing spells bound on my 1-9 keys. I couldn't say why I find them vital on one healer and a hindrance on another, but that's the way I found works best for me.
I'd also recommend Bartender. You can set up all your panic buttons in two little columns right up beside your raid frames so you don't have to move your mouse more than a few pixels but you also don't have to worry about clicking the wrong key binding and wasting one.

at the very least I would recommend something that will display the party's health as numbers not %

Clique + anything else that shows raid health bars properly (I always used it along with X-Perl)

Clique and Grid are the best, tried Healbot, that add on is a mess, if you want some simple add ons that work great those two are the way to go, also i suggest something for decursing.
On my pally since I started to use Clique and Grid I have become the #2 Healer in my Guild. It works wonders, it shows all members, shows what they have on them ie; Curses, poisons, etc. and clique is simple you set all your heals to your mouse, ie; Holy light right click, FoL Left click etc etc, and all you gotta do is click those on the grid and your good.

I tried Healbot as well and I think it's a mess, too. I know how to install an addon enough to have a completely customized UI with long to configure addons like Pitbull and stuff. It's down to personal taste, I can't stand Healbot and that guy can't either, but others love it.

See Im not the only one who doesnt like it, Thanks for the backing Shiv.
To the OP regardless whatever addon you choose to DL make sure its something that is going to fit your playstyle, yeah the forums are great for opinoins, but remember they are just those OPINIONS, so try out all of the most common known ones, Do a heroic with one, then goto another heroic with another until you find the combo you like and find fits your style of healing.
