***NOTE: This achievement can be fast-tracked by repeatedly killing yourself and resurrecting! See below for details***

This achievement will be available during the Legion pre-launch event.

To obtain it, speak to any of the various Doomsayer/Doomsayer NPCs during the event, scattered throughout Orgrimmar (14 total) and Stormwind City (16 total).
The pamphlet you get will be random, regardless of which NPC you choose. As such, you can stick with a single Doomsayer and keep checking back for new pamphlets (there is a 15 minute cooldown after speaking to one, which applies to all of them at the same time).

Important notes:

Collecting all of the pamphlets will grant the achievement, It All Makes Sense Now.
These pamphlets are NOT unique, so you can get multiples of the same type.
The 15 minute cooldown on these Doomsayers only counts down when you are logged in! Therefore, if you log out and log back in hours later, you will still be on cooldown (until 15 minutes of in-game time has elapsed).
You can safely vendor/delete these after receiving them - you will still retain achievement credit for having obtained them.
This Feat of Strength is NOT account-wide - you must get all pamphlets on a single character.
It appears the invisible "cooldown" debuff does not persist through death! As such you can kill yourself (fly up high and dismount) and corpse run or be resurrected by a friend in order to immediately get another pamphlet. As below, this can be repeated over and over to get the achievement very quickly!

You can use Soulstone, Reincarnation, or Brazier of Awakening to help with this.
If you choose a Doomsayer near a Spirit Healer, you can repeat this process over and over, and run back fairly quickly. This will avoid the 15 minute wait, but will instead incur a 2 minute wait for each rez.

The Doomsayer at (Valley of Wisdom) in Orgrimmar is close to a Spirit Healer
The Doomsayer at (Cathedral Square) in Stormwind City is close to a Spirit Healer
Be sure to put your gear in your bags before doing this, to avoid repair costs!

If you take Resurrection Sickness at the Spirit Healer, you can skip the 2 minute rez timer, but you will have this debuff for 10 minutes. Doing it this way is the fastest route to getting all of the pamphlets you need!

You need to put your gear in the bank if using this route and wanting to avoid repair bills, as items in your bags still take durability loss with Resurrection Sickness.

This achievement will be a Feat of Strength (similar to Tripping the Rifts from the Cataclysm pre-expansion event) that will not be obtainable after Legion launches. It cannot be seen until it is earned, but it can be tracked by pasting the following into chat:

/run AddTrackedAchievement(11065);

To stop tracking it, you can right-click the achievement tracker list and click "Stop Tracking"

So it seems this will be another FoS like Tripping the Rifts.
One of those achievements that was optional, unannounced, and had to be discovered so people didn't know about it until it was too late.

Although it appears this one will announce itself to you and from there, if you are any good at being an undercover agent in WoW, which happens a hell of a lot if you quest, especially with old content and especially if you are an old player who went undercover with Gelkis Clan Centaur or Magram Clan Centaur like me, who you can no longer get rep with, you should be able to figure out how to get it on your own.

But with wowhead now being ever so popular, I'm sure everyone will have it and it won't be as rare as people with Tripping the Rifts

The Legion pre-launch event includes the achievement It All Makes Sense Now.

Simply talk to Doomsayer in Stormwind City, or Doomsayer in Orgrimmar in order to obtain the various pamphlets.

For convenience I have compiled a list of the NPC locations in both cities:

Note that (at the time of writing) there is a collective cooldown around 15 minutes. Simply pick one NPC, collect the pamphlet, do not delete the item, wait, then talk again to receive a new pamphlet. Since the items are unique, keeping the old items guarantees you won't receive duplicates.

*Edit* So apparently people are killing themselves to buy-pass the timer. As long as this works, you can use the following code to help automate releasing your spirit, accepting the spirit healer ressurection, and clicking the button for the pamphlet:

Easiest/fastest way is not to run around. Find a Doomsayer NPCs, interact with him, and get the pamphlet. This will start a 15 minutes timer, and you cannot get a second pamphlet from this or any other Doomsayer, until said timer runs out.

However, death resets the timer.

So the fastest way to do this, is to find the Doomsayer near the Cathedral at 47.4, 49.6. Speak to him to get the pamphlet. Fly up and drop to death. Accept rezz sickness at the nearby graveyard. Mount up and run back to the Doomsayer. Rinse, repeat.

Additional Note: it is possible to get multiple copies of the same pamphlet before all 12 drop for you. I have done this on three characters and on average it will take you 10-12 minutes, unless the RNG gods really hate you. Good luck!

The pamphlet dialogue option seems to have a cooldown of roughly 15 minutes.

It seems that the cooldown does not progress while you are logged out. I switched to an alt and when I logged back 15 minutes later there was no new pamphlet option.

You can complete this solo within few minutes (depends on luck).

Go to 48.48 in Orgrimmar, where spirit healer is, next to the Valley of Wisdom (for alliance - 68.17 in Stormwind where portal to pandaria is) fly up -> die from fall damage -> take resurrect sickness at spirit healer -> talk to the Doomsayer next to the bonefire (next to pandaria portal for alliance) and repeat the process.

I try to run the script in both chat and in a macro and I get a warning about losing gold or items. This leads me to believe it is now in violation of TOS? Does anyone have any input?

If you use the die and resurrect plan to collect your pamphlets, I recommend resurrecting at the Spirit Healer so you won't have to wait seconds and minutes at your body. I completed this achievement in Cathedral Square at the fountain near the Spirit Healer. I did this on a level 92 character, and died at least 20 times to get all of the pamphlets. My repair cost was only 70g at 92 so I recommend using a lower level toon :)

If you want to keep track of your timer, don't forget that there's an in-game stopwatch available if you click on the clock!

(I mean, you could do it faster by killing yourself over and over, but come on! YOU'RE PLAYING RIGHT INTO THEIR HANDS! :P)

I think that this achievement is a genius move from Blizzard, if it was intended that dying resets the cd.
I can actually feel the Legion in this stuff.

In my server, at the time I got the achievement, there was two full raids of people working toward this. It was an astonishing view. 40 people, naked, picking a panflet, then, promptly getting on a mount, and throwing themselves to a cartoonish suicide, just to run back or be rezzed by a gentle heal, just to do it, again, and again, and again, and again, and again... Hordes (pun intended) of characters just dying over and over, in the middle of a sea of skeletons.

Just for a Feat. No more.

It was madness. Maybe, Sargeras found a more suitable Avatar this time around...

#1 Horde speed-run: Valley of Wisdom (Orgrimmar) - Troll Doomsayer, near Tauren class trainers bonfire (very near graveyard)

Alliance: Dwarven District (Stormind) - Human Doomsayer, near the fountain (100 yd. from graveyard)

Deposit gear in bank (avoid repairs), use Blink/etc. for speed if possible

To farm this achievement in few minutes:
You can ask for other pamphlet after you die so, if you are willing to suicide multiple times in order to farm this achievment, I encourage you to invite others using Group Finder. Also, now all healers have a mass resurrection ability so ask friendly to someone to do that job.
It will be esier if you are not alone runing from a Graveyard with Resurrection Sickness debuff :)

Just some statistics:
After completing this achievement I had 80 Pamphlets in total.
5x Tattered Pamphlet
15x Worn Pamphlet
13x Damp Pamphlet
1x Crumpled Pamphlet
9x Odorous Pamphlet

After 32 Pamphlets I was missing only one - Crumpled Pamphlet. So it took 48 more Pamphlets to get the last one.
I completed this achievement in Stormwind near Cathedral. Killing my self at the fountain at . Graveyard is really close, at . Taking Resurrection Sickness and flying back to the fountain, taking my Pamphlet, flying in the air, dismounting, dying. Repeat.
NOTE: Don't forget to take off your items to avoid repair costs and by taking off I meant putting them in the bank since your items still suffer durability loss if you leave them in your bags.

This achievement takes an average of 37.23 tries. Which means that if you want to do it the normal way it would take you roughly 9 hours. Doing it by suiciding it takes roughly 27 minutes (assuming 45 seconds per attempt) and if you manage to find a healer to ress you as soon as you die it takes you about 15 minutes (assuming 25 seconds per attempt).

Remember that this is the average. You might get lucky and only need 12 attempts (although that's only 0.005% which means about 1 in every 18614 people get that!), but it could also take you way way more than 37 tries.

My data is below. It shows the amount of cards you still need and the odds to get a new card at that amount. So when you are at 10 cards collected you are actually only half way through the achievement!

91 pamphlets to get this one, for me.

The hardest one to get to drop was the Scribbled, and before that the Odorous Pamphlet. Blackened, Demonic, and Damp seem to be among the more commonly occurring ones, though YMMV of course...

Definitely recommend removing all gear from yourself and your bags, and taking the rez sickness hit from the spirit healer. Having flying is a huge bonus (because otherwise it takes too long to run that far), and you have to remember to rise up high enough to die when you remove your mount and fall.

For decency's sake (and to show off your l33tness) I recommend wearing a fancy tabard, like loremaster, the explorer, Scarlet Crusade, etc, etc, etc.

You can easily do this by using the unstuck command with a level 1.

No Durability loss, no rez timer for level 1's, don't need a rezzer.

Be on a level 1
MAKE SURE YOU DELETE YOUR HEARTHSTONE FIRST

then go to the Help menu, under the Character stuck tab and hit "Teleport to Graveyard"
or you can use this macro

/click HelpFrameCharacterStuckStuck

You will kill yourself, and have no rez timer.

While all the dead people were waiting for rezzes I was happily running 10 feet and rezzing myself in no time.

I did this with my Holy Priest today and the resurrection cooldown did not incur, even after dying multiple times. I'm wondering whether there's a bug with the Spirit of Redemption passive or if it was just a circumstantial occurrence.

What I did is I talked to the Doomsayer, flew up in the air (with my druid to spare 1.5 seconds per time for the 50 or so times I had to do this), dropped down, released spirit and got ressed by the spirit healer. In Orgrimmar @ the Valley of Wisdom, there is a Doomsayer pretty much RIGHT infront of the spirit healer and is the most convenient one. Unequipping my armor didn't seem to keep it from breaking for some reason so keep that in mind.

There was a priest on Stormrage, at the steps of the cathedral, inviting whoever asked into a raid, and chain-casting massres. Got it done quickly. What a mensch.

If you luck into a group like that (before I assume the inevitable patch), tip that healer when you're done.

Just did this on my Priest. I found it was much quicker to simply die and get the 10 min debuff rather than look for someone to ress you especially as Horde in The Valley of Wisdom with the Troll Doomsayer with the Guardian Spirit being a couple of skeleton piles away. It's a lot faster.

I also highly recommend the "free deaths!" approach, some poor fellow cried in trade chat about how he just spent 900g trying to get the achievement.

Make sure you unequip and store your gear in the bank before doing the death version of this or else all your durability will be gone and you'll have to pay a fortune. My friend said that they fixed that a while ago but that's apparently not true... Thanks, friend.

Did this achievement in 2016/7/24 in Argent Dawn EU , in Stormwind at the Cathedral Square, did it in 5 minutes.
Found a guy who invite people and res them for free, though i forgot his name , but he helped us a lot.

Holy priests do not get a rez timer from dying due to Spirit of Redemption

So if you have a priest, and don't want to do the prep for using a Spirit Rez spam, just spec holy and click off spirit redemption each time after you die (make sure you're naked so you don't lose durability)

If you're Alliance, a fast and easy way you can get this Achievement is to use the Doomsayer in Stormwinds Dwarven District. She's stood across from the Engineering trainers, next to the fountain.
Before you start getting the Pamphlets, bank aaaaaall your gear that has durability - this includes any other gear you have in your bags, they will lose durability even if you're not wearing them.

1. Talk to the Doomsayer.
2. Get Pamphlet.
3. Fly up really high.
4. Dismount and fall to your death.
5. Res using the Spirit Healer - it's faster than waiting for body res timer.
6. Rinse and repeat.

Definitely one of the stupidest things I have ever seen in wow. When I first saw this I thought "oh cool no big deal just another collection achievement". Seeing now that it took me 6 days, roughly 35 hours, and 14720 pamphlets just to get the achievement I definitely see this as one of Blizzards more completely #&%^ing stupid ideas. However some people may have better luck at this than I. If not for the repeated dying glitch this would be completely undesirable.

You receive a pamphlet by talking to the Doomsayer and selecting the following option:

The end is coming!
Would you like a pamphlet?
Gossip I'll take a pamphlet

Notes: There is a 15 or 20-minute cooldown between acquiring pamphlets, and it is possible to receive multiple duplicates. Progress is NOT account-wide.

Fast strategy:

The cooldown can be circumvented by the player death mechanic.

Place all equipment that takes durability damage in your bank. This includes any equipment in your character's bags since taking Resurrection Sickness incurs a repair cost regardless of whether the item's equip status.
Find a Doomsayer near a graveyard.
Stormwind: The pandaren area near Eastern Earthshrine.
Orgrimmar: Valley of Wisdom, near the class trainers.
Speak with the Doomsayer and take a pamphlet.
Mount up and fly high enough that you'll die from fall damage (about 100 yards).
Release your spirit and talk to the Spirit Healer. Click "yes" twice to take the resurrection sickness.
Fly back to the Doomsayer and talk to the NPC again.
Rinse and repeat.

In case you are wondering, it takes 37.24 pamphlets on average to get all 12 different ones (assuming they all have equal probability, which is a reasonable assumption). However, RNG is RNG. You can have them all after 12 tries, and it is technically possible for you to be suiciding day and night and never get the last one.

Following are your chances to get them all within x tries.

12 tries: 0.00537 %
13 tries: 0.035 %
20 tries: 5.13 %
30 tries: 32.9 %
34 tries: 50 %
50 tries: 85.2 %
100 tries: 99.8 %
200 tries: 99.99996677 %
1000 tries: You have higher chances of being hit by a lightning in front of your PC than fail this.

But remember: when you fail to get a new one, it's like you haven't tried at all. Suppose you have 5 pamphlets already. Your chances to finish your collection within 20 tries is about 35%, and within 40 tries about 85%. But if you make 20 tries and receive nothing new, your chance to finish in the next 20 is still 35%, not 85%, even though by then it's gonna be 40 tries since you started.

About one person in 6000 will end up failing to get the very last pamphlet more than 100 times in a row.

LOL!

This quest/chieve is a clever Blizz "Login Server" and "World Server" pre-release loading and stress test.

Use use any method you prefer to complete this achiev... if you are not in a big hurry wait at a doomsayer and set your timer to 15min, with an alarm, and do real life chores (where you can hear the alarm... if you have a watch, use it). Pick up a pamphlet every alarm until you are done.

You will get the chieve, Blizz will give you a more bug-free release, and all will be well with the world... Azeroth, that is.

Soooo... upon reading all these comments here, I should mention something I noticed with the spirit healer. She says (and I'm quoting from a screen cap):

"If you find your corpse, you can resurrect for no penalty. If I resurrect you all of your items will take up to 25% durability damage (equipped and inventory) and you will be afflicted by 10 minutes of Resurrection Sickness."

Yeah, did you catch that? "(equipped and inventory)". I checked myself, sure enough, all my gear, everything, not just my current gear I wear for questing had been hit with the penalty, it was all in my bank.

So, I'll probably get down-voted and no one else will see this once the event is over, but just thought I would put this here for the hell of it.

From digging into the history of this achieve on ptr it appears that originally we were supposed to receive award for this. Instead most of us just received nonsensical jargon and hefty repair bills. That said there are at least 3 of the omens that do speak of things to come in game...the rest unfortunately are jokes and sad in game advertisements for ridiculous imaginary items.

Not that we need the additional confirmation, but I can confirm that the pamplets are NOT unique, and keeping them in your bags does NOT guarantee you'll get ones you haven't yet. It took me a whopping 57 tries to get all 12. As you can see here (https://s20.postimg.org/3v4lfit59/Wo_WScrn_Shot_072816_032035.jpg), before I got the last one (Scrawled), I got:

If I'd let the timer run out like you're supposed to rather than repeatedly throwing myself to my death (which really fits in with the doomsday cult, don't you think?), it would have taken me over 14 hours. That's ridiculous.

No matter if you keep the pamphlets in your bag, or sell them, you WILL get doubles. I have, at this moment, 2 more pamphlets to obtain but 11 damp ones, 3 crumpled ones, and 6 scribbled ones - they are, of course, doubles. So no need to clutter your bag up trying not to get the same one more than once, because you will any way. Just sell them!

Took me 34 times to receive all 12 pamphlets! At least there are people willing to resurrect us achievement hunters!

Definitely take off your gear to help relieve the cost of a very expensive repair bill.

If you are going to go down the route of accepting, killing your toon and ressing at spirit healer, might I suggest the Doomsayer by the fountain in Stormwind's Dwarven District. There is a spirit healer just through the stone archway, which reduces the travel time significantly.

In case anyone is unaware, you can kill yourself with Pinchwhistle "Nitro Fuel", Pinchwistle "Nitro Fuel". Just Make sure you have a Cooking Fire on hand or Lil' Ragnaros!

I did this this evening and recorded my results to share with everyone. I'd be interested to hear from anyone regarding their droprates to see if the Demonic Pamphlet is really the hardest one to get?

Personally took around 45mins using the res sickness method but you could do it a lot quicker if you use the macros provided in other peoples posts below.

Potentially this could of taken around 18.75hrs if I'd had to wait 15mins cooldown each time!

After a few days of not getting this particular achievement I resorted to using Resurrection Sickness. Here's the drops that I got before I finally got one of the elusive Crumpled Pamphlets... keep in mind that I already had the other eleven in my inventory from trying to get them the regular way.

It didn't take too terribly long, although doing this any other way seems like it'd be far too time consuming. Why doesn't the timer count down if you're not online! I completed this achievement in the Valley of Wisdom in Orgrimmar, as it seemed to be the shortest jaunt between a Spirit Guide and a Doomsayer (he was standing near the small plaza with the tauren, in front of the bonfire). I'll be saving this Crumpled Pamphlet forever...

I personally opted for doing it in Orgrimmar, the Doomsayer in the Valley of Wisdom is quite close to the spirit healer. It took me 39 deaths (or 40 pamphlets) to do it.

Based on previous comments it's obvious each player/toon will have a different "unique" pamphlet to collect.

Also, I didn't do the rez thing. After completing all the DH/Burning Shore quests through Stormwind on Tuesday, I just 'parked' next to a Doomsayer and set a timer while I did other things, like eat, laundry, pay bills, etc. So four days of patient waiting and I got it.

Now the hard part, the invasions......(I got an old system)

After another patch, I can see that why the death not only just happens to reset the timer, but is sorta obliged to do that.

Look. Now, being in the capital city, you not only witness the doomsayers' pleas, but also are likely to be influenced by Dark Thoughts, what results in certain death by either being killed or becoming a dreadlord (Give In To Darkness).
You happen to pass away fulfilling the doomsayers' words on following the Legion and embracing the chaos and destruction, being no longer "the one who is questioning".
So it really makes sense now.

Camping the doomsayers for the 2nd dialog option (for the chance to get the toy) I witnessed many suicides so naturally I was completely perplexed and confused...you see at that time I didn't know about this feat of strength, I knew about the two from invasions but not about this one...so indeed 'It All Makes Sense Now'

Just a tip for priests trying to get this achievement:

Whilst doing the suicide at SW cathedral I noted that spirit of redemption stops the res cooldown from occurring. just switch to holy and save yourself a load of time waiting to be allowed to res!

Two of the soothsayers are in wrong place on map.

1. By Pandaria portal, should be by Dwarven trade Fountain
2. In SW Main Trade Bank, should be outside Guild Vendor shop, other side of road standing by Archway out of city.

There are a bijillion comments about killing yourself, but there is ZERO information as to why. So it's amazing to me that no one has mentioned this essential bit of information...

You can only pick one up every 15 minutes.

OR

You can die and the timer resets.

Don't know if they added a new Doomsayer, but there is now one in Orgrimmar at 48.2 48.8 in Valley of Wisdom, literally next to the spirit healer. You can cycle between falling to your death and talking to both without so much as taking two steps. See screenshot.

Re: Odds of each pamphlet, the first eight came quickly, the last four are stubbornly refusing to spawn beyond the base odds. I am using the Doomsayer next to the Spirit Healer in Valley of WIsdom.

Many more tries got me two more. My gut feel for this is that the odds are skewed; it's probably based on the Doomsayer, or the time of day, not the player. But dropping from the sky next to these two guys is so easy, it's reasonable to just keep trying.

Stuff all of your gear that can take damage into your bank before you do this, then use the Spirit Healer to rez quickly. This avoids the two minute wait to rez.

Good luck, the event ends soon.

Follow-up, same day, this worked like a champ. Took too many tries, dozens, I didn't count them, but it was so quick and easy that it wasn't painful to do.

The absolute fastest way to complete this achievement is to have a low level toon that is able to enter The Stockade in Stormwind (level 15 is required to enter manually). Enter The Stockade and let yourself get killed. This will only take a few seconds from you engage the mobs standing close to the entrance (it goes faster if you unequip all items that grant you stamina / health). When you release you will immediately be resurrected right inside the dungeon entrance. Leave the dungeon and run to the Doomsayer standing right outside the Stockade next to the cooking vendor. Rinse and repeat until you have got all 12 pamphlets. Simple as that!

I guess this can be done in Orgrimmar / Ragefire Chasm too, although I don't know if there is a Doomsayer as close to the entrance as is the case at the Stockade.

The bonuses from doing it this way:

you are resurrected immediately, and close to a Doomsayer, which saves you time.

at this low level the item repair cost is negligible

you don't get any resurrection sickness

the items in your inventory does not take any damage as you are resurrected without the use of a Spirit Healer

(I know this comment is very late, but I first found out myself a few minutes ago! All I hope is that this information might help other players who - like myself - try to complete this achievement during these very last hours before Legion launches).

1. It All Makes Sense Now
• In completing this achievement, I have chosen to use the Doomsayer in Stormwind City Cathedral Square at coords 47.5, 49.4.
• Start off by removing all of your gear from your character, and placing it as well as any other gear in your inventory, inside the character's bank.
• Travel to the Doomsayer at 47.5, 49.4.
• Speak with her and select, "I'll take a pamphlet."
• Fly high up into the air and dismount, falling to your death.
• After releasing your spirit, you will find yourself in the Stormwind City Cemetery at 47.2, 40.6.
• Speak with the Spirit Healer and accept the Resurrection Sickness. This will not cause you to spend money on repair costs as all of your gear will be in the bank.

• Repeat these steps until you have obtained all 12 pamphlets for It All Makes Sense Now.

If you haven't gotten to complete this achievement and like me it's still tracking and you've added it by using: /run AddTrackedAchievement(11065)
To untrack it simply replace "Add" with "Remove" as such /run RemoveTrackedAchievement(11065)
and It'll remove the tracked achievement from your achievement tracker.

Can confirm, there is no achievement for collecting all the pamphlets from the doomsayers in 7.2.5. Does this get you this achievement from collecting them now? I'm not sure :S

Although the doomsayers reappered recently (in Dalaran this time) and started again
to hand out the pamphlets, it seems this feat of strength is no longer obtainable just
like the text says ("... during the Legion pre-launch events ...")
